You know what would actually be cool? Hanging a JAPANESE flag on the wall. But Bay would be too lazy to try to explain or justify why the Turtles and Splinter would do that. Plus he already ripped the f'ing guts out of their heritage and backstory.

I hate Bay, I didn't want him involved in this movie (I didn't even know he was a producer until I heard he was involved in the 1st movie) and I wished it was another producer doing it, so it would stop all these arguements.

But to be honest I am a bit clueless on directors (I know some of the well known ones), Producers and Writers. I just go see the movie to see if I enjoy or not.

I know the 1st movie wasn't perfect but it did some great moments in it and I still watch it.

I am still opened minded with the 2nd movie because it has a new director, new actors for Shedder and Karai, actual foot ninjas, new villians Bebop, Rocksteady and Baxter. So I'm getting excited for the 2nd movie.

I don't judge movies by looking at photos and videos of filming, trailers, movie stills ect, I just go see it and see if I enjoy it or not.

Bay's attachment wouldn't stop the arguing, the writing alone is considerably flawed with or without his influence.

There again, I'm clueless on good and bad writers. I wouldn't even notice if writing is good or bad in a movie until someone else mentions it. So sometimes I have to watch the movie again to see why.

i have to question how this is possible?

i mean you can tell with lack of plot, even dialog..its just is bad writing

this is why trailers are so deceptive..a trailer is made to sell the movie..it is edited in a way and by someone who has absolutely no involvement..so they have to tweak and edit to try and fill seats in under 2 minutes

thats why you here people say the trailer was better than the movie

or the trailer showed all the good parts

I think it's because when I enjoying watching a movie (especially an action movie) I don't notice things like good or bad writing. I do notice the plot but not the dialog, acting ect. I also think it's due to being dyslexic too. I can tell if the editing is bad in a movie.

When Sachs said "Drain all of there Blood, even if it kills them" and people said that was a bad line, I didn't get why, took me few days to figure it out.

I don't go by the trailer, I still go see a movie if the trailer is bad.

We all know that the sequel will be garbage as the first one. We've got the same writers, Bay and Fuller (don't forget this a$$hole) returning as producers and Platinium Dunes never made good movies. Ok we have real foot ninjas know, a new shredder and Bebop&Rocksteady, but we also have a bunch of useless humans characters and other cameos, and also an "i dont give a sh!t" character (yeah I'm looking at you Amell Jones). I don't understand why we are wasting time, talking about this crap. Hope the sequel don't work so they can let the franchise alone.

Yeah, I don't go to the movies thinking about the writing or the acting. it's all about the escapism, I wanna be immersed in another world for 2 hours and forget about rl. movies are entertainment and fun, and should stay that way.

Like, to give you an extreme example: would you still enjoy Harry Potter if it turned out that Voldemort was really Harry's father? Or if Hermoine was really an alien from another dimension?

And before you say those examples are ridiculous, allow me to remind you of flooding an entire city with nerve gas from your ridiculously visible skyscraper corporate headquarters, and then curing them with some mysterious green ooze that turned normal animals into 6' tall, 500 lb monsters.

Think of it like a video game.

when you play one and run into a small glitch it adds to the entertainment like a small plot hole that doesn't take away from the general enjoyment of a story.

But then you have the glitches that cause death, crashes, game reboots, console problems and the game to stop working entirely. These are major plot holes in a movie that make no sense yet the movie doesn't address them and pretend they didn't happen.

Escapism should happen naturally not because I have to turn my brain off for it.

Speaking of a cure did they even see if said cure worked? what would they have done if it didn't? Like you said it originally caused mutations which it will undoubtely do in the next movie for Bebop & Rocksteady. not to mention they even admitted they couldn't recreate it. My god I just found a plot hole for the 2nd movie while discussing the first.

Well, I don't think it's a plot hole... I will bet money they (Bay and cohorts) never make reference to the idiotic "cure" again. They're gonna purposely mutate--oh, wait, can't even recreate it. That's what you meant.

Well, Baxter can. Possibly using the remains they pulled off Shredder's glove.

If given logical and critical thought for more than a second, it could be done well. But this is Bay.

*nod* Only thing that can push them to try to give it better. IF they listen, keep listening, and eventually catch on (though that appears to be a long shot) and end up with better sequels... their careers will thank us later if our pushing ever results in a highlight on their filmography.
