He needs to stay, he's perfect as Leo (contract bound maybe). They need to let him do the voice back though.

Comparing Pete's hair in that pic with the fan... think last pic might be Alan. I think. Maybe. Those two were just meant to be siblings in film. lol

Also if you mean the blue near his hip, remember they all also have those blue glove things. Only an arm band knows for sure - and then they'll just confuse us with stunt guys.

That's my exact point. I'll re-quote myself for emphasis:

Not only is there minimal variation between her wardrobe in the first movie and this one, there's practically no variation in her outfits between scenes in this movie. I just think it's very lazy - it's like they just told her to bring a bunch of her own skin-tight jeggings and boots from home, and they told Arnell to just grab a pair of jeans and a hoodie on his way to the set. Everyone seems to be in very dark or plain colors, nobody really has any distinct "look" and visually, it's very dull and uninteresting (not to mention uninspired). It's New York, ffs - give them a bit of edge and personal style. Makes me wonder if they're just trying to cut costs so they can spend more money on action sequences.

Like everything else in this movie, the lack of effort on anything that isn't a chase scene or explosion is galling. For god's sake, you could hit a NY thrift shop and grab a few things - it's not hard. At least try to make her look different from her Transformers character.

I know they will never admit it, but adding Knoxville @ the 11th hour, was clearly a marketing move. Now that Plozsek has had more exposure, perhaps they'll leave Leo in his hands completely.
Funny. I said the exact same thing several times after he was announced. Considering he has a recognizable voice and has brought in immense profit on very little investment for Paramount with Jackass/Bad Grandpa.

Nobody really bought it.

Well that's anything but comforting...

I could be a little more forgiving if there was a whole bunch of effort made, but that he was just thrown in there and no effort really bothered to be in-character or understand the character like it didn't matter.... insulting amount of disrespect shown to a very respectable character.

The casting person for the four Turtles actors did well, I trust that person chose Pete for solid reasons.

Edit: I've got a FB page of people who feel that Pete should be able to voice Leo this time. On an international scale, or even national, it may not be all that many 'likes,' but it's at least a few to several full theaters worth of audience, plenty of whom may see it more than once so thousands of dollars worth of profit... I'm sure that will be ignored by the film people though.

Bad Grandpa alone raked in 151.8 million on a 15 million budget and got an Oscar nom. And that was JUST Knoxville on screen. Let alone the other Jackass troop.

Jackass 3D? 171.6 million on a 20 million dollar budget. He's been raking in the money for them for years.

That is literally the only reason they put him in this movie at the 11th hour.

Couldn't they have saved him for the sequel and just let him do something stupid in the background instead.

Like I dunno, be some moron that challenges Rocksteady and gets run over.

I'd be surprised if Peter isn't Leo's voice this time around.

Likewise, though I hope for continuity's sake that Knoxville returns.

I hate others for doing this...continually trying to second guess what's happening in a scene or why a certain character is showing emotion...but my feeling is the Cops have outed the TMNT but April manages to convince the Police Chief that the TMNT are the good guys...on the same side as the cops. Cops agree to let TMNT go free...for now...

How would they ever stop them? They're super powered 7 foot tall bullet proof monsters capable launching people in the air with one punch.

Maybe if they weren't that then there'd be some tension/suspense on whether the Turtles could survive an encounter and possible capture by the police. Maybe even one of them gets "shot"(find out later that it's just a deep flesh wound) and has to be carried back to the lair by his brothers.

Nope. That might happen in a GOOD movie.

So we already know how that plot thread is going to go, if that is indeed the case.
