There still doesn’t seem to be anything exciting going in this series by issue 124 and Sophie is still writing it????. I guess it will be a while before I pick up this comic again.

I think those two covers are a homage to two Mirage covers and that's why Jennika is absent. But I can't pinpoint exactly what Mirage covers they're referencing, but they look very familiar.

Nice! Were getting a Christmas themed issue, I always wanted to see what Christmas would be like in Mutant Town.

Sure but 15 out of 20 Cover A editions since 100 made sure to squeeze her, especially if it was a group shot.

Oh good! Another issue where they do nothing, talk about their feelings, and try to maintain good vibes! Again! Still written by Sophie! EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED!

I suppose I shouldn't judge before I've read it, but then again there's been a certain pattern to the last two and half years of issues and I just know based on that synopsis that we're probably getting exactly what it sounds like.

Considering this is all post-Hob and the Mutanimals issue being resolved, I wonder what new threat there is. Unless it's just going back to whatever the hell Baxter is doing with those slithery eggs (and honestly, who cares about that really), they do need to show some villain doing something of interest soon.

Well we do know what he did with the eggs, he raised them to be goons. You are right that it isn't much to care about, but it is something that came back.

I wish the turtles, or at least Donatello, would make a trip to Burnow Island or something. I want to know if the Utroms/Triceratons are still sitting there twiddling their thumbs despite a 6 month time gap (in-universe, probably more 8-9 month gap now) since we last saw them.

Its quite the time gap since were getting close to the Holidays, But this is something I look forward to, Christmas in Mutant Town is gonna be quite something, Imagine Raph and Alopex suddenly standing underneath a mistletoe, and then they both have to kiss, I image the same would happen if Donnie and Mona Lisa also happened to be under a mistletoe, I would expect a surprise kiss from Mona Lisa, and Donnie with this surprise look on his face.

Christmas in Mutant Town? Anybody who's a reindeer mutant needs to cash in.

Given that the parts of New York that were mutated include historic Jewish areas I do wonder if that would be touched upon. Probably a bit much to hope for. I suppose I'm curious about the way in which people adapt their historic cultural and religious heritage into being turned into a gerbil person.

All I know is if I celebrated Christmas before being turned into a lizard guy or whatever, I still better be getting presents that year.

So you were wondering what it would be like for all of a year.

Just glorified Mousers, really. And even less effective ones at that, given that they're organic (more easily damaged) and sentient (capable of being scared, routed, tricked, etc). I don't know what Stockman was thinking.

But I don't know what anyone at IDW is thinking anymore, so here we are.
