To be honest, until this whole thing blows over in a year or two, I don't even want to hear the word 'vaccine' anymore.

I hate the word "sus". It's used in the game Among Us and now everyone uses it when talking in general. F*cking annoying.

That can get annoying. I think it's common with sportscasters. How did that particular phase become so popular?

My 9 year old used it the other day. I told him to knock it off.

Articles that start with "It's time...." or "We need to talk about "xyz". Basically the embodiment of soft, leftists nonsense creating serious undertones for whatever drama they feel like plugging in after their 3rd grade story-starter phrases like that.

Also hate the 'attention white people' or 'dear white people' nonsense. Incoming boring woke sjw lecture alert.

Oh for sure. They might as well begin with: "Let me introduce myself. I'm a weirdo!"

Using the word "stans" to describe/refer to fans of a certain thing or character

I hate that too. Whenever people are fans or someone the general media don't like, suddenly we're 'stans'. Naw dude, we just appreciate that person's work or looks or whatever but we're not any more/less obsessed than the next person.

Yeah I noticed that's something that started recently too, I never remember hearing that word in the early 2000's. Probably something from 2012 onward.

Lately I hate when people refer to their friends as "humans". It just seems fake and trendy.

I made a thread about this years ago but it bothers my ears when someone in a straight relationship or marriage refers to their significant other as their "partner." Because that either makes it sound like a business relationship to me OR some kind of virtue signaling to the LGBTQ community.

Yeah I think so too. If you guys are straight and cis, there is literally no reason to call your spouse your 'partner'.

I feel it's cold, like your spouse married you for other reasons and doesn't love you enough to actually call you husband, boyfriend or whatever.

The leftist weirdos are trying pretty hard to eliminate gender specific terms like boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife or anything that indicates gender.

I don't think that's always the case. I've seen it used by people who live together and have been together for sometime (established/long term), but just aren't married. Also if a person is older they may not choose to use 'boyfriend/girlfriend'

Which comes back to the virtue signaling. "See? I'm calling my wife my 'partner'! That means I'm standing in solidarity with you guys, on the right side of history!"

It's fascinating how people bow to the leftist weirdo mob as if we are living in their world instead of either living individually as we want or collectively as we want.

If someone corrected me on this I'd say "well the life I'm living is that she's my girlfriend, that's the term I use and you can accept that. If you don't accept it and push it further then we have a new kind of problem that you are going to have to deal with".

We've given these f'n people too much power and too much consideration and they are all ego-high on their nonsense. "It's time" that they got hit with militant responses in escalation to their own proactive escalations and destruction over the years.

On the other hand stay conversive with people who are simply talking about this $#!(, but also keep the conversations short and on point.
