Who is this, Batman?
I'm sure Finger and Kane would be happy to know that there's been so many different versions of their creation, it's insane! |

Only Bill Finger had a major hand in developing Batman. Bob Kane was a charlatan. Watch that documentary from 2017.
Anyway it really does say a lot that characters like Superman and Batman have remained relevant for nearly 100 years. Like besides old cartoons like Mickey Mouse or Bugs Bunny, they're the longest lasting comic book and later animated characters in existence. It really is crazy when you realize these characters have transcended generations. Just imagine if TMNT is around for 80 years, which will be long after most of us are gone. And think of all the other cartoon/comic characters created in the 80's and 90's that are still around to day. It says a lot all these characters stay relevant for decades after their creators die (we saw this recently with Akira Toriyama dying and Dragon Ball still being relevant), and you realize all this stuff will be around forever. |
