TMNT/Power Rangers crossover!

Fun start. Lots of good action, banter and set-up. (Though the "lasagna" line confused me a bit.) Also thought it was neat that while the Turtles and Shredder have some OT influences in their designs, Karai looks pretty much like the 2k3 design in a different art style. Unexpected, but cool. Very interested to see what Tommy's actual deal is as well as what kind of plan Shredder is cooking up.

You’re welcome. I believe the MMPR met Rita’s henchmen in the 2017 Boom! Comics comic books because there are some pictures online of the MMPR coming in contact with the henchmen and Rita. MMPR has camp value akin to Batman ‘66, but some older people see MMPR as copycat Voltron Defender of the Universe.

This is honestly the best work Ryan Parrott has put out since he took over the Power Rangers comics. I am really impressed.

I had very low expectations, and despite not giving a damn about mmpr, that was a great, brisk read. Artist is working overtime here. Don’t love the wacky masks, but I dig the colours and details. Paneling was excellent. Hard to go back to IDW main after this.

read it last night before bed. was a pretty solid comic all around. not a huge fan of MMPR but I think with this first issue, this has potential to be great

Three week away and a full preview? It appears that since Boom! is running this its in-line with the first twenty-five issues of MMPR while The Shredder having the Technodrome on his own along with April as a reporter proves it is not connected but inspired by IDW among other iterations.

I do like how Shredder is playing it straight and appears threatening.

Bobby's word wasn't enough?

I think it'd be hilarious if this was just the 1987 universe after Turtles Forever but 03 Karai decided to stay because she missed her daddy that much and ended up whipping that Shredder into shape. But then she said Takeshi Tatsuo founded the Foot Clan, so there goes that idea.

Bobby's words about what? I was stating it may not be cannon for TMNT, but it could be for MMPR.

Tommy's undercover status ended quicker than I expected it to. It is a bit of a stretch though as to why. So someone that was Tommy's old friend from before Angel Grove, his father called Tommy and told him he was involved in a gang so Tommy went undercover to pull him out? Only this Travis knew he was a ranger so The Shredder could use him? We need some clearing up there.

That's a cool design and a fun concept for a book like this. Anxious to read it sometime this year.

I'm really just happy to see how well these TMNT crossovers continue to do. This is slightly anecdotal, but everytime I check the reddit comic page, I see TMNT posts rising to the top of the pile.
I truly think the demand is out there.

Shredder says he got information from Dimension X, and since Zordon was on the okay about the Ninja Turtles, I assume that Zordon at least knows of Krang/Utroms
