I'd say it's one of the more quoted criticisms of the movie and one that I happen to agree with of course the script is part of that.

The movie's tone seemed to be all over the place. At times it seemed like it wanted to be a Dark Knight-esque realistic movie and other times it's seemed like it was trying for ultra goofy juvenile style. I wouldn't say I want ultra goofy but a melding of stylistically dark and realistic as well as light and humorous can be done and if there's any franchise in the world I think TMNT is best suited for that but it requires an understanding of the material to know which elements to play in which way and to what degree.

That being said from everything we know of the various changes the movie went though and assertions by Michael Bay himself as to why as well as the retroactive billing of it as a kids movie as if that's a good justification for it I have a feeling the sequel will veer more towards the ultra juvenile frenetic crap.

Well people do dress up in all kinds of outfits. It's strange though given that this new version of April got the lion's share of the screen time as well as the story being about her life we didn't get much of an impression of what this new April was like as a person. What little we did such as her desire to be taken seriously the general 'serious' portrayal of the script by Megan it doesn't seem dressing as a school girl is something she'd do.

I wonder what happened to Megan not wanting overly sexy roles since she's a mother. I know Liebesman isn't involved but he seemed sincere in his desire for April not to be sexualized. While we did get some of that it seems now he's out of the picture it's going into overdrive.

It'll probably be a different scene, We saw Noel Fisher/Mikey at the Parade interacting with a Bumblebee cosplayer last night, So I wonder what they will do tonight.

Will the other Turtles show up? Who knows.

I can picture this happening.

Mikey! What are you doing! They are going to notice us.

Don't worry bro, It's Halloween, They won't even notice.

I can also picture Mikey dancing to the beat of the drums and yelling "Go Ninja! Go Ninja!"

lol Look... the Transformers aren't over sized this time, what happened? They shrunk down to the size of those battery powered toy cars for young kids.

(Or are those Transformer babies? I didn't know those robots could do that.)

I gotta say though, that would have been fun creating the Halloween props. (Seeing as how I have a backyard shed full of my props and decorations...) I'd still pick the job of furnishing and decorating the lair, but the Halloween stuff would be a close second option.

Seriously, I kinda want to see the other three quietly freaking out on the sidelines trying to get Mikey to get out of that crowed.

But maybe it's part of some plan and they're in on it.
