I don't feel anything. If they are happy that way then good for them.
But it can be an issue for their families. Some kids grow up with parents who literally never seem to have time to spend with them. That's not gonna be good for the kids. No matter how demanding your job is, it's not like you're working 24 hours a day every single day of the year. Plus, why have kids if you know you won't have time to raise them? Seems like a bit of an excuse from such parents. I have known people whose parents had important jobs in the engineering or medical fields and yet still were able to spend some time with their kids. |
