Man, you will literally find just about ANYTHING to complain about, no matter how minor. And I say this as someone who thought the first film was meh.

*shrug* I haven't been bothered to see the first one yet, but people seemed to enjoy it and their "fan service" to get the design closer to the games was commendable. Good for them.

As a big fan of Sonic myself, I enjoyed it for what it was but even then, it's not something I need to watch over and over. I saw it twice for free in theaters to see if I enjoy it more a second time but the experience was no different from the first. Given what this series has gone through over the years, some of us are just happy that it wasn't a dumpsterfire we thought it would be while others will praise it to the moon of how it's "the most amazing movie in the world!" Really, it's just an enjoyable kid-friendly movie.

Watch it only if you're in the mood or curious.

I still haven't seen it yet, either. I probably will, but I kinda have this problem with Jim Carrey in anything that isn't "Man on the Moon".

When Tails appeared at the end of Sonic 1 movie I think everyone knew a sequel could be possible. My biggest dream within the sequel is Knuckles appearing somewhere after Tails "finds" Sonic as his cut scene would imply looking for sonic upon arrival.

Perhaps the biggest thing to me is maybe in this sequel they can have classic interactions with these characters that would make for some pretty high level throwbacks; maybe tails picks up sonic and "fly" to a destination or maybe he rescues sonic or even when he flies and picks up sonic, knuckles could appear (as a baddie but isn't) or something of that nature.

That logo is okay at least for now.

Kick-Ass 2 was pretty OK. Until he launched a social media campaign to badmouth it because he decided violence and guns were evil and put on his educational hat.

Yeah, I agree. Not a great movie, or at least not as good as the first, but it was pretty good and he was good in it. But the whole media thing made me lose what little respect for him I had left. He's a huge asshole.

Like my thought here was shouldn't they have done the first film in his actual world? On the other side of it though I can see where why they chose to put him in our world instead because now we can go to his world over time especially with the sequel now opening "doorways".

I would think it's still considered live action if they use both elements.

I've never been big on Jim Carey, but I actually liked him in this. He's not very Eggmanish/Robotonikish but I feel that will come in the sequel given how this one ended. That aside, it was fun movie. It has it's issues like any movie, but it was still fun. Oh and boy did they bring up Olive Garden a lot...form what I remember anyway. lol
