Looking forward to this issue, especially Neil Gaiman writing a story. Also, I didn't know so many people disliked Dan Slott's run? Maybe I just enjoyed his run because that was when I got back into comic book collecting.

Slott was good at ideas, but was horrible at executing them, and he treated all the supporting characters with disdain, he didn't have the correct voice for Peter Parker and made him too much of a child. His run dumbed everyone down considerably.
You're better off reading the runs of Roger Stern, DeMatteis, DeFalco, JMS etc if you want a mature Spider-Man. |
