So, Lightspeed Rescue has started over here. The dubbing is an attrocity as usual, but aside from that it doesn't look too bad. Of course, the first episode was rather silly, and everyone going "ZOMG! Teh rangers! Us is saved!!" was cheesy to no end. But from the action and the zords... why not.

News from the far east! The series after Mystic Force will have Construction vehicle-zords and will be based on these images.
Looks really cool, if you ask me. I just hope that we'll get to see more single-zord action.

According to the description, this Sentai season features a group of archeologists trying to retreive long lost artifacts before the enemy forces can do so, also includes something about their safeguaridng a relic called the "Precious".
It would be an ideal situaton to use fan references in a manner that contributes to the story (locate the Zeo Crystal, this ancient morpher etc) |

Hey I'm just wondering. Do you think they will ever make season sets for this show? I'd love to see Season One and SPD made into season sets.

Reruns presumbly. Gargoyles no longer airs as much, if AT ALL, so they release them then, PR is'nt just the worlds' longest running thirty minute series next to Doctor Who and The Simpsons, its' still ongoing, hence the value and money seen in showing the seasons in rerurns only to draw in ratings, eother as the current season, or a part of the PR Generations block, appeals to their long term needs for revnue with the franchise. What there absolutley cluless about though, is that releasing MMPR on DVD will make them more money than almost every present series they have done up until now. |

here are a few good sites with info on the american, and japanese versions of the power/dai rangers.
http://www.rovang.org/sentai/dairanger.htm and http://www.supersentai.com/database/...ger/index.html both are great sites. is the american mystic force going to have the rangers all be siblings like the japanese version? also, i think its really cool that they are going back to the caped version of the rangers like they did in the earlier shows like goranger. |

I stopped watching after the first movie, which would mean around Season Three.
My favorite of the series was the first, with Rita Repulsa as the villain, Tommy Oliver as the Green Ranger, and when they piloted the DinoZords.

I also knew Tommy appears in some of the later ones, but I never got to watching them, but perhaps I should give them a chance... I just don't like to think that what I grew up watching is slowly slipping away, never to be remembered again, though I do appreciate it when Toon Disney (Jetix) shows the older episodes from time to time. Thanks, ZariusTwo, you've inspired me to check into those mentioned series.

Maybe we'll have three word titles for the Boukenger-adaption. Who knows?
So, when is MF going to air? And another thing occured to me: Is it just me or are the unmorphed fights mainly dodging and defending, then hopping into formation for the great finisher move? Oh, people, you might want to see this... Boukenger Promo! Sure, it's short and it's in sort of bad quality, but it still gives us a look on the things to come. It certainly looks... different. I like the costumes, but I have yet to see more on the Ranger powers and the weapons. And I don't think I'll like those digger-hands the yellow Ranger has.
