Eh, give like... Three years tops and nobody will care, probably sooner. Human beings simply don't have the capacity to remain outraged about any given topic for too long. When the disease fades away, people start working again, have access to whatever services they were used again and a general return to stable normalcy happen, I doubt that many people will have the time and motive to care about this sort of thing.

Kindergarten Cop was a fun movie. In Highschool in 9th grade one of my teachers was a former police officer. He retire from the force and well took up teaching. so yes it can happen. I know we have have the war on police at the moment, but Kindergarten Cop was one of Arnie's best comedies.

The way Arnold yells at some of the kids would probably be viewed as too harsh in 2020. "Go get a toy and bring it back to the carpet!" "NOW!"

I also suspect the line, "Boys have a penis, girls have a vagina" said by a 5 year old would be "wrong" in today's society.

This is what I mean about numbers and ratios all the time though. We can say it's too harsh for 2020, but who is truly rallying behind that? How many people are honestly going to turn "Kindergarten Cop" off in an offended flip of the remote? Nobody.

These "twitter voices" are always loud, but they make up basically some sub-percent of the real population. Yet no one can actually compute or verify this fact and is afraid to take a stand or not join in an act of perceived groupthink.

We are banning things and enforcing cancel culture based on the whims of an untabulated extreme-minority.

To be fair, there are many types of protesters. Some do want police reform and want them to be held accountable and have better training that's not so militaristic...then you have those that actually want to do away with the police altogether and against all forms of it. In that regard, there is a "war on police".
