I'd say there's a lot of '(blank) is coming' types of titles, but then again the original show liked to use 'Enter the (blank)' a lot.

This is great. It's a hodgepodge of weird, cool, and goddamn hilarious.

I don't know which one I like better, "The Television Disgust" or "I Think A Bull is Going to Kick Me."

And, "Irma, Devastatingly Stupid" is just plain cold. Damn.

Looking at the list of altered episode titles makes me realize its largely good as it is already. The only mind boggling one was always episode 5, 'The Shredder is Splintered' also appear as Shredder & Splinter'd' or 'The Epic Begins. The first of the two is simply dumb and makes no sense. I never understood it.

The other one that stood out is what proved to be the final episode, 'Divide and Conquer'. That would imply the Turtles are divided into two or four and are not getting along. 'Dregg's Last Stand' would have been more appropriate.

Aside from episode titles of this show I never have seen "Enter: ________" as an episode title only scene cues in scripts and plays. That stood out to me as a kid and it still does. Even in subsequent series, the 2003 cartoon or 2012 cartoon we don't have episode titles like this in a first appearance of a character.


Episode 2, 'Enter: The Shredder", episode 12, 'Enter: The Fly', Episode 27, 'Enter: The Rat King', Episode 109, "Enter: Mutagen Man', and Episode 176, 'Enter: Krakus'. Yet some episodes opted for descriptions or perhaps a subtitle for the of the introduced character like Terror of The Swamp or Evil Turtle From Dimension X or Outlaw Hero. Zack's first episode was basically a subtitle often associated with the character just minus his name. I do have a problem with Slash's debut suggesting Slash is from Dimension X when he is a pet store bought turtle from earth just like the other four turtles. He just happened to be living in Bebop's room in the Technodrome that happened to be located in Dimension X at the time.

True, but that was Slash's action figure description. I guess they went with that.

I like how Slash was too dark, edgy and overall psycho for the cartoon, which is why they didn't go with the black bandanas and gave him buck teeth.
