I'm surprised that the 2012 Tutles don't remember spotting their 1987 counterparts back in season 2.

They were shown for a few seconds in the episode where Tiger Claw fell into their universe. There was also a small scene at the end of the episode where they all talked, it was done in flash animation.

Looks like Splinter the boss needs to watch The Manhattan Project.

Prediction time! Either 2012 Raph or 2012 Mikey will joke about how 2012 Donnie and 1987 Raphael sound awfully alike. Then they deny it, then say "we sound nothing alike" at the same time. And there will be a flashback detailing the outcome of the 1987 Turtles' battle with Tiger Claw.

They didn't. We saw the '87 Turtles, but the only things from the 2012 dimension that saw the '87 Turtles were the Kraang Worm and Tiger Claw.

The 2012 turtles (and Casey and April) saw their '87 counterparts through that Kraang portal.
