This past week I found out Stan Sakai would be in my home town of Omaha and while I couldn't make it, my mom was able to get the day off from work, and go on my behalf. My mom picked up the Usagi Yojimbo Coloring book for me, I was able to speak with Stan on the phone, and he did a quick sketch for me of my two favorites, Usagi and Gen. I think it turned out really well.

This is a piece I've had coming for a while. I asked Jim Lawson to do an homage of Batman #1. Then it went to Eric Talbot for inking, and finally Steve Lavigne for colors. I tracked its progress as it went along. I'm picking up the final piece at the Shellback closing in a few weeks.

Really nice pieces. Who did you get the black and White print from that's in the upper right corner? I wouldn't mind trying to find a way to get one. Looks pretty cool.

That is a really sweet idea, having the three mirage guys working on one piece.

Thanks! it took me 3 years to get it. The metalhead page is (I think) the first clear image of him after the reveal.

That shredder/venom is great. They make for a good combo
