The non proper battles are among the things that bring it down imo. No nunchucks but Mikey fight with sausages? Really. Shredder does nothing and he's so cringy: "First them... then you" lmao so cheesy and not threatening. And Keno is just pointless and terrible acting (but I'm sure he's a nice guy in real life). I'd rather re-watch any other tmnt movies than Soto tbh.

the abandoning of ninja weapons to use hot dogs and yo-yo's was pure sacrilege!!! i found Keno just as annoying as that Danny kid from the first movie.

I agree, best Leo so far for me. Glad Knoxville was gone. I really loved the whole movie, but that was the worst Casey ever. I hate to say this, but I think even the Nick Casey was better. I wish they'd get rid of Megan as April, but it's not about her really. It's the turtles I go to see and they did not disappoint. The scene with them putting each other down on the airplane was sad and Raph taking on a mission with Mikey was awesome. I love those two together. Donnie was my favorite version of him yet. Glad to see they all got equal screen time this time.

I love April, she's amazing and very spy-like. Kinda reminds me of Black Widow without the martial arts. Casey is fine too tbh, his dynamic with the other cast is fine. The turtles are great and yes I'm so glad Pete got to voice Leo this time (as it should be! My God, why even Knoxville for the first one? He sounded like a 50 years old chain smoker)

Midnight Screening review with Cinema Snob Brad Jones and Allison Pregler. Spoiler alert: They f*cking hated it. As an aside, Allison's laugh is magical. |

Eh, they say in this video Phelous would hate it, and he actually enjoyed it, even when he spent most of his own review picking it apart (which I agreed with, despite liking this one)

Speaking of magical, who wants to watch 10 Inch Mutant Ninja Turtles with me?
It's got a much more accurate Casey Jones in it! And an April O'Neil who is an ACTUAL adult film star and not just one who pretends to be! |

I'm just saying I agree with it. To be honest, quite a lot of the people here giving this abomination of a movie praise will probably turn around and agree with me in like two or three months.

I am going to check it out in IMAX 3D today. How was the 3D effects for people who saw it?

I saw it in 4DX yesterday, some of the 3D effects were good.

better than the first imo.. they did take some liberties here and there but then again so does many other comic book-based movies. my kids liked the first one better than this one but there was a lot of nostalgia in this flick from back in my day so i did enjoy this one more. i still think this series of the turtles could use some improvement here and there but overall pretty solid. much more tmnt onscreen this time, thank God

more screen time with the turtles had me the most thankful!
that was one of my biggest gripes with the first film. i just wonder if they'll ever figure out a way to include Hamato Yoshi in their story or if he just doesn't exist in this story? it would be pretty cool if they could figure out a way to somehow work in the reincarnation angle from the IDW comics.
