I wish this series had more fanservice honestly. I want to see the girls fondle each other breasts in hot springs and walk around in the locker room in their underwear. Given the fanservice it does have I'm surprised how reserved it is and not going further. I get the feeling if this series came out in the 90's or early 2000's, it'd have a lot of fanservice with the female characters.

Well, too bad.

Be prepared to see a lot less fanservice from now on.

True, but I mean he is a similar extra obstacle for Deku to overcome, alongside the more serious challenges and villains he has to face.

The latest series has been very serious. No time for fanservice when they're constantly battling. A beach episode or Mineta being up to his antics in the middle of it wouldn't make any sense.

Plus, Midnight is now dead. We still have Momo's outfit to look at, if you want fanservice.

Honestly, I'm getting fed up with the shipping community.

Just, enjoy your ships, people. There's no need to incite harassment towards others.

Wow, something truly rational, which even I can be onboard with.

Are you new to anime, or something? This is hardly the only fandom where shipping wars happen. Yeah, it's dumb, but the best thing to do is just ignore such weirdos.

wow...I am surprised to see you say that considering huge declarations of a thing being sexist online in current times is trying to incite harassment.

I think Deku x Ochako and Kaminari x Jiro are practically official at this point. We know they fancy each other.

Momo x Todoroki is a popular ship as well, but I don't get a romantic or attraction vibe between both. Just respect for each other skills. But again, it's fine if you ship them. And they'd make a cool couple in theory.

Anyway, this is a shounen series. Not a romance.

It's funny if I were a teenager when this show debuted, it probably would have been one of my favorite shows growing up. I was already 30+ when this show started, so even as an adult I was able to get into it. But I know if I WAS the target audience like 13-20 or so, I would have had this as one of my top shows growing up.

I probably would have loved it and not see its flaws if I was a teenager when it debuted too.

As I said, the first 2 seasons were the best ones. The series had a lot of promise at first.

It's the perfect show for teenagers. It's neither too overly violent or too overly silly, and has the perfect mix of action and story. Also most of the characters are likeable and reminds you of things in High School just with superheroes. In a way it's basically an anime version of the X-men.

I haven't seen X-Men, so I wouldn't know. But I guess it is the perfect series for teenage anime fans.

There's better shounen series out there such as One Piece, for example. Oda is a great writer and artist.

A show like this could really use more fanservice. It's surprisingly reserved in terms of swimsuit scenes or showing the girls changing, only one or two minor scenes in the whole series so far.

Yet, a lot of fans bitch about Momo's revealing outfit often lol

Certain sections of the fandom are taking issue with the lack of societal repercussions towards the series' heroes.

Personally, while I understand some of their sentiments, I don't think that their arguments are necessarily accurate.

I'm sure it's just a loud minority, but that's still ebiguh people to make some noise. And it's not just restricted to Twitter, I'm afraid. On Reddit there's people in the fandom like that as well.

Like me and Coola had discussed some time ago, MHA is an anime series that's more mainstream than average. Which means it attracts a lot of fans who normally don't watch anime and aren't familiar with the medium's tropes. Basically, those people aren't used to things like fanservice and then don't react well when they see it.

It's stupid because it's just a cartoon/comic. But some people really have strange priorities and worry about the most meaningless stuff.

The color page has been released.

It contains … very little sexualization. At least no one's topless …

Momo already looks older than most of the girls, if they said she was 18 you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. That's why anime ages don't matter too much, unless characters are drawn to look very young, you really couldn't tell if some of them were already over 18 or not.

Everyone else does look between 15-17 or so, which suits their canon ages.
