New reissue figures found

well, I still have all the original 2012 stuff so none of the 2012 reissues are for me. I really like those figures and the shellraiser is one of my favorite TMNT vehicles playmates has done, but I just don't need any of it.

Wow! Never would have guessed the Mutant Module would be reissued. Just last year I bought an OG, lol. It would make my entire adult collector life if they do Hotspot and Scratch. Really hope they're on the way. I'd say it's a decent bet - that art for these three is the same trading card framed art that Playmates posted on their Instagram awhile back where they also posted 3 other pics of figures including my holy grails.

Haha, yea, I was very tempted earlier in the year to pick up a vintage Pizza Thrower. Glad I didn't.

Also, the other figures shown in that post with the trading card frame were Robotic Bebop & Rocksteady, Robotic Foot Soldier, Hot Spot, Scratch, Halfcourt, Ace Duck, Metalhead & Usagi Yojimbo. Metalhead was already announced back at the Toy Fair I believe.

What I REALLY want to see now is reissues of the Rock n Roll Turtles and the Mutabus. Those were my absolute favorite toys as a kid.

No doubt, I just bought some cheap reproductions awhile back because one of mine was broken. I'd buy 2, one to open just for an antenna, lol.

Unless I'm mistaken, the above slides were shown with the banner "under consideration". This is no confirmation that any of it will be made, just that Playmates is interested in dangling a carrot.

You are correct. I just found an interview with Playmates regarding the Turtle Lair & Mutant Module. According to Playmates, they are "not 100% finalized but pretty close". I personally think we will see those get released.

Yeah, it would be pretty ballsy to show everyone photos and then reneg on the deal; a carrot is more like a quote that can be walked back later. But you can tell from the yellowed transparent plastic on the mutant module that those are NOT production photos... lol.

I saw more people on fb finding the new sets at target so I went looking. Couldn't find the new wave but did find a pizza thrower finally

I think the 40th Rahzar is worse. First, lime Raph. Then, Bebop’s leg discoloration. Rat King’s eyes were supposed to be red. Now this. There are a few good reissues here and there like Leatherhead and Genghis Frog. At large, the re-releases look like bootleg toys.

Playmates will recycle them again. I don’t know when it will stop. There are now Stranger Things Mirage turtles. These 2k14 ones seem to be their favorites to reuse.
