Bird Box. Pretty watchable.
But it really needs a squeal to explain what it really is and where it came from, and if that is truly the end of the world or what happens after that point... |

Finally saw The Shape of Water a couple of nights ago. Absolutely loved it. Lived up to the hype, and the ending was truly beautiful.

Bird Box. I liked it until the end
Nights at the El Royale. Was interesting, but took a little while to get there. The Predator. Terrible.

Indecent Proposal.
For some reason, I thought this movie was all about the offer tearing a couple apart. But that whole bit comes and goes in ten minutes and moreso deals with the fallout. I still enjoyed it, though. |

It was dumb fun and I liked it a lot, it was surprisingly more gory then I expected. SpongeBob the Movie I've never seen a full episode before, but I really enjoyed the Movie. |

Glass. My first M. Night movie.
Not enough asylum psychiatry for my taste, but hey, it's Sam L. Jackson.

"Head", the Monkees film from 1968. I'd never seen it before, despite being a huge fan. I'm so ashamed.
Completely brilliant and far ahead of its time. I'm neither shocked that A. It was universally panned upon its release, or B. That it's now considered a lost classic of its era. A little bit Benny Hill, a little Monty Python, a little bit of Family Guy, somehow , along with everything that made The Monkees great in general. Great stuff. Completely tragic that it took several decades for people to "get it", but that happens a lot. I'm guessing self-parody wasn't something a lot of people were hip to back then. But it's masterful satire. "You think they call us 'plastic' now, babe... just wait'll I get done tellin' 'em how we do it!" Legit one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Rewatched Bee Movie... that sure was a movie.
Eddie Murphy: Delirious, or I'm watching it as I'm writing. 20 minutes in, the homophobic bit was incredibly awkward and aged badly on the spot. But still, I'm past that and he's still not funny. The crowd is way too easily amused. |

Nutcracker and the Four Realms. Terrible movie.
Keira Knightly was the only good thing about it.

Alita Battle Angel
Definitely the most awkwardly structured movie I've seen in a long time. It feels like it has 9 or 12 acts. |
