Just to help clarify/confirm, the "proposed" sequel to the 2007 movie only got a concept poster made by the folks at Imagi. There was never a script for it.

Also the Joe Pesci guy you were talking about was probably Rich Magallanes. He's not a producer, but he's a higher-up at Nickelodeon and is apparently fairly involved with the show.

Yeah, that's the cat, that's young Joe Pesci. Sounds just like Pesci too. He needs to learn how to talk to a room full of people without making them feel like 5 year-old walking dollar signs.

Like CyberCubed said, not too much groundbreaking, but good opinions with some entertainment and some jokes. I enjoyed the thought that the Nick show is the DC Teen Titans of series along with the portion on voice acting and that good acting can make you forget that its a celebrity and presume its that character. If Jephael's voice sounds like Scott Menville's, plastroncafe's voice reminds me a bit of Susan Blu's. Hope to see more episodes soon!

He looks more like a sleezy used car salesman than a TV executive.

I really dug the first podcast. And I stared listening to the second podcast.
But, as far as the Mirage comics go, I've only read the first two and a half volumes of the 'Ultimate Collection.' A few minutes into the second podcast, I decided I should finish volume 3, and at least close out the return to New York arc before I finish the second podcast.

But it does seem like an awesome podcast.

I do, however, wonder how much seepage there is from the 80s cartoon and the movies, into the comics. I mean, did the comics really remain their own thing, after other renditions came into play? Did Eastman and Laird intentionally ignore those other versions?

In general? Tom Waltz, Jim Lawson, Lloyd Goldfine, Ciro Nieli, any TMNT voice actor, & Steve Barron.

Just finished the David Wise one, it was pretty good and informative. He didn't really say much that I didn't already know or at least assume (based on the production of the show), but there were some interesting tibits here.

I'm surprised the Technodrome wasn't based on the Death Star afterall. He said he never made the connection. That's a misconception in the fandom for some time.

Also as expected, David Wise didn't really pay attention to any other TMNT incarnation. He dropped the Mirage run around issue #7, only watched clips of the movies and not it the full way, and only saw a few episodes of the 4kids series and Nick show. That was expected though as most cartoon writers don't tend to check out other incarnations.

I did like that he said that if it was up to him the show would have been more of an action cartoon than a comedy series. His hands were obviously a bit tied from the higher-ups and what the other writers did.

Good podcast.

Good stuff short of the really loud froggy voiced guy, he really broke the flow a few times. & what in the hell provoked the question of turtles' lovelives and female OC's?... *cringe*

Okay. Who the **** is watching porn while they skyped with David Wise? Froggy?

Around 1:14 a clip in the background is obviously an adult video, and I heard what sounded like vibrations and moans here and there throughout the duration of this. Jesus duckling Christ.
