Ultimate TMNT (Fan Comic) - Third Printing Opportunity

Hi Gang,
Not sure who among you has a copy of this "Ultimate TMNT" fan comic by DK4 Studios, I've been looking to get my hands on one for a while but it's been out of print since I've know of it's existence.
Well, way back when, I followed the project's page on Facebook as a "just incase", never expecting to actually hear anything.
Today on the FB page the author announced that as part of his Kickstarter (for his podcasts), that he'll reprint it for the $50+ supporters if he hits his stretch goal of 2k.
It's at $1,292 currently so 15 more backers jumping on at that tier will make it happen. I can't personally vouch for the guy but by all accounts the first and second prints were legit including inclusion on Rich's TMNT blog site.

I've worked with the guy on coloring these covers and helped with funding when the book was originally being put out so yes, the guy is legit.

I see they are in the process of canceling this as they have received a cease and desist letter which is a real bummer as I've been trying to get a copy of this for a long time. Why is it this one cant be funded and made but Andrews excellent projects can? Just curious
I've really enjoyed Andrew's commitments to the franchise and had interest in this one

I would guess it's because Andrew has history with the rights-holders going by his page on the TMNT wiki (https://turtlepedia.fandom.com/wiki/Andrew_Modeen) though I wouldn't say that this is for certain by any means.

I would love to know the answer to this question. Maybe it's because the books are printed in Russia.

Maybe Andrew and team DID get a Cease and Desist but successfully called Viacom's bluff.

Maybe there's a key piece of legal jargon he included in the campaign that allowed them to do the printing.

Maybe Andrew will step in here and give his two cents. Printing fan books has never seemed to be an issue in the past. It's weird that Viacom now is throwing lawyers at things.
