I need the lower price. The volumes go from $7 - $12 each ($16 - $20 for Ultimate Showdown in US), and, (apparently Seeks knows something I don't about this release) will be approx. $20 if it were released in the US. So, if the two volumes were (let's meet in the middle, here) $9 each, and Ultimate Showdown was $17, that would be $35 in all, so that's a $15 dollar difference between if you looked for all the volumes or if you just waited to buy the box set if it comes out in the US. I can't be certain that the boxset WOULD be $20, but I'm just basing it off of the UK price. Still, it wouldn't be over $30, so even if it were $30, it would still be a five dollar difference. It might not seem like much, but it's savings.

Oh. Well I got the first two for $15 in a multipack, and Showdown is $15. That's $30. I highly doubt a box set would go lower than that.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I don't know anything more than you lot! It's just the Sainsbury's site have the set listed for £15.

http://www.sainsburysentertainment.c...duct=E11275754

I am assuming it's actually the Season 1 of the Nick show? The listing is the same as I have seen on other sites [Seasons 1-4 instead of Volumes 1-4] and the release date is the same as the Nick set I believe. The artwork will have just been taken off Google, which Sainsbury's do often with [They tend to use fan covers for the Doctor Who DVDs, for example].

Yeah, internet sellers (such as Amazon) have this consistancy in thinking that it's by SEASONS instead of volumes. It really means volumes

Has anyone in the UK picked up Vol 3 yet? Is I, Monster unedited?

I'm tempted to pick this set up for 15 but only if the episodes aren't cut like they are on Nick UK.

Thanks

Just checked Amazon.
Still not officially up, but shortly after the November release of vol 4, there is a Series 1-4 set coming out.
I think they messed up the description. I believe that is Vol 1-4, and it will indeed just be the 4 individual releases in one box.

Still, I'm holding back on that inevitable bluray release.

Oh, you have to see the price being asked for the OT van collection !!

Lol, I wish! Off the top of my head;

April's rescue - she just appears with them on the rooftops

Leo blowing up the wall of rats - cuts from him going to draw his katana to te explosion

Leo showing Splinter the picture of his family

The may have been more smaller cuts but those were the real noticeable ones. This episode was really butchered for TV here, which is strange as Nick UK were getting better (The Gauntlet appeared to be unedited).

I, Monster was actually the only episode I had the chance to watch on the UK set before I got Ultimate Showdown. I'm pretty sure it was unedited though.

The UK DVDs are UNedited.

Interestingly, ITV and Nick have different edits, and ITV seems like the more relaxed!?!

Wow. That reminds me too much of the Hero Turtles.

And The Gauntlet? Unedited? What I would do to see that...

Thanks guys, looks like I'll be picking this set up next month

Unless they announce a US Blu-Ray season set between now and then!

That is a shell of a price! No wonder they're out of stock online.

It says the Studio Name is Warner Home Video. What does Warner Bros. have to do with the new show?

Plus I look at the description: No photo of the set, no information on the set, no information on where the set is available, no information from any other website about anything involving a Blu Ray set of the show even in the works much less already available.

I say it's a red flag sadly.

Got my DVD complete season 1 set, just all volumes collected together as I guessed. Still awesome, can't wait to watch one after another now.

Have a good rewatch! I'm still sticking around to see if a similar release will happen in the U.S (or buy a region 2 dvd player xD)

By the way... It's no season release, but it's something!
