Aaw man, I miss Lawson's art in comic books. Looks good!

Lawson's art does seem to go beautifully with the tone this story is trying to tell. Couldn't have picked a better artist, and the fact that Lawson agreed to drawing 100 or so pages (even if he was paid for it), is an amazing gesture from him.

Lawson could have flat out politely declined if he wanted to move on from Turtles entirely.

He was very gracious at every level of the project, even designing entirely new characters and environments from virtually scratch. He was grateful for the opportunity to work on new Turtles stuff.

one true cartoonist.such a nice being and important artist.I love the thought that he is a cartoonist.hope he brings many many more comics to the worlds eyes...

I have to agree, Neo Devil Bane, that Jim is very gracious, very personable, and very professional. I had him do some commission work for me and the experience was perfect. We even share a few common interest, as it turns out.

Jim always gives his all. He is one comic artist who always seems to go the extra mile, while many others tend to skimp.

And I think the answer is why not, Andrew has culled from all aspects of the Turtles history, it would seem a bit off if Next Mutation was absent.
