Lawson's art does seem to go beautifully with the tone this story is trying to tell. Couldn't have picked a better artist, and the fact that Lawson agreed to drawing 100 or so pages (even if he was paid for it), is an amazing gesture from him.
Lawson could have flat out politely declined if he wanted to move on from Turtles entirely. |

I have to agree, Neo Devil Bane, that Jim is very gracious, very personable, and very professional. I had him do some commission work for me and the experience was perfect. We even share a few common interest, as it turns out.

Even though there's very little context and no TEXT, I have a rough idea regarding what's going on here. Sort of reminds me of the 1st movie...

Is it just me or does Jim Lawson's art look better than usual on that page? He must be giving this his all.

So I guess Slash does become the 5th Turtle for a while.

Jim always gives his all. He is one comic artist who always seems to go the extra mile, while many others tend to skimp.

Oh boy!, Andrew you had better put on some hip waders because now you're in deep. *smiles* At least, I know this will be NOTHING like TMNTNM.

She is very much the Venus from NT:TNM, personality and all. But she is in a very different situation now, and has a very different disposition.
