I wish you lots of luck Powder! it's really great that you have the motivation to get healthier, I really recommend you to read the book called " the china study" if you want to go that route. But Stryker is right you can always start by lowering portions and including some type of exercise to your schedule.

Been away from the drome for a few days and boy do I feel behind! So much cool art and stuff has been posted. Been going through a bit of an ordeal, my poor husband has been in hospital and had to have very risky surgery. He's home now and recovering slowly thank god but it was getting pretty scary for a while.

My aunt is coming down with some medicine for my grandpa. She's heard that it can help remove tumors from the body, so we're hoping that it'll work and that he'll be okay. Keep your fingers crossed.

Thanks. Mom went to visit Grandpa yesterday, and he wasn't well at all. He's going to go to the doctor tomorrow for his usual checkup, so we'll see what happens then. I'll keep you guys updated as soon as I hear anything.

Grandpa's not taking the medicine because he thinks it'll make him worse. I think he's being stupid because this medicine could take away his tumors for good and give him a longer life, but he doesn't want to even try. I swear, he p*sses me off.

Those meds usually come with some even worse side effects that a lot of people decide not to put up with, specially since doctors can't guarantee that the cancer won't come back. Maybe he feels his body is really tired. Try not to be so upset with your grandpa.

It's not going to because he won't take it. I agree about the worse side effects, but he could at least just try it and see if it works out. If it makes him worse, he has the option to not take it anymore. Oh, well, it's his decision, but it ticks me off because it's a chance for him to live longer. You really can't blame me for wanting that.

Getting really peeved at my Internet. I honestly don't know what's happening, but it keeps kicking me off and only showing one bar signal instead of showing two bar signals with full signal (one on the top and one on the bottom). And even when I do connect, it only stays that way for a short time, and then it'll say I'm connected but dormant, meaning that it won't take me to where I want to go and will keep showing: "Google Chrome cannot display the webpage." I've tried everything, even moving it into the living room to see if I get a better signal there, but it doesn't work. I guess I'm just going to have to deal with it and just mess with it until it gives me what I want.

It's working okay now, but it took me a few tries. And what sucks is that I can't replace the device because these port devices are obsolete now, which is truly weird.

Oh, well, I guess I'll just have to deal, but it's very frustrating. I swear, this all started after my sister called us. Whenever she calls, bad things happen.

I have officially moved out of my parent's house for good. I'm getting married in June, so I've moved into an apartment with my fiancee. We just finished putting everything in, and the place looks great.
