How old is the babby at this point? I have a cousin who's just turning 1 and she's a load of fun.

Decided to stop by and see if this place was still active and great to see that it still is. And even old school members still active, this is awesome!
I might have to make it a habit to keep checking this place out. My life has changed a lot too, as most have posted lately, I joined the fatherhood almost 3 years ago, twin boys. Life is pretty wild, but fun!

One of these days I'm going to pop in and announce an Ootiemaniac running around...
Cool to see some Old Guard returning, though...depending on how long ago you left.

I just found out my brother is in the hospital and had to be taken by ambulance. Seems his new medication ended up being a bad mix?

The hardest part is that he's in San Marcos, so we're not exactly able to hop down and visit him, from Waco and Ft Worth respectively

But thanks for the condolences. He's doing okay for the moment. My mom went down to see him today, and has probably already seen him since visiting hours were from 7 pm to 7:45. I wanted to go along, but was told that he's probably in no mood for multiple people. We're looking at getting him into a private hospital at home, but he's otherwise fine. Just really mad because of how badly his first weeks out from home after a long while have gone. The biggest one being is that he should never have been turned loose on new medication without being supervised first. And then a whole bunch of other things, including being accused of stalking three times - which resulted in the first of two encounters with the police. Probably because of the bad medication creating a lack of awareness. He's just been having a really horrible time and this was the just the cherry on top. UPDATE: The good news is that they're letting him out of the hospital tomorrow and he's well enough that he doesn't need to be relocated or even go back to Ft. Worth. He can just return to his apartment. A huge relief, since I've had a small nagging worry that I might not have him anymore.

At this point, he's back home, and has been for a few weeks. San Marcos ended up being way more trouble for him than expected. We've decided that our last remaining foster kitten from the most recent bath would stay with him as an emotional support animal, since she's bonded to him and been a big emotional boost for him.
Today, however, I got to meet Col. Eileen Collins, as she spoke at the aeronautics department at my college. It was pretty neat.

my sick turtle passed away, I found her dead on the basking spot after walking the dog. It looks like she died in her sleep, so that's something I guess. I thought I was prepared that she might not pull through, but she was doing so much better and got more active.
