Jeff Franklin has been dismissed from the series after complaints of inappropriate behavior. Netflix is still plannng on beginning production in the next two months.

Thanks for the heads up. I would never have guessed. It is good to see the show will live on without him. Often times when key figures are dismissed the shows go own with them.

It will hurt the show and I hope we don't lose any of Danny/Vickie fix from the series, Steve and DJ, and any hope of Ashley Olsen popping in for a single scene.

Whether or not he has anything to do with his creation or not beside filming other scenes in front of the house is not important so much as the cast he grew close to can forgive and forget. They are a close knit bunch.

News of Franklin's dismissal was first reported by Variety, who say the decision was made after the studio received complaints about his behavior in the writer's room and on set. Per their sources, he's been accused of being verbally abusive to staffers and making inappropriate statements in the writers' room, including sexually charged comments about his personal relationships and sex life. Their sources say he has not been accused of directly sexually harassing or engaging in any physical misconduct with anyone on staff.

According to the report, complaints were also lodged about Franklin's habit of bringing women he was dating to the set, where he sometimes gave them bit parts in the series. Warner Bros. TV executives are said to have received an anonymous letter over two years ago with detailed allegations about his behavior with writers and other staff. It remains unclear if the studio investigated the situation at that time."

For some reason the binge showing of Full House did not cut back, but disappeared completely off the schedule for the channel. However, starting Monday afternoon it will binge show on CMT of all networks. Are Hallmark and CMT owned by the same or different companies?

Fuller House received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Children’s Program. The show may not be the best written series, but I'm happy to see it get this nomination.

Netflix is starting to get cancel happy which is new. Perhaps there is a certain rating that Netflix execs are looking for and said it had to reach a certain rating or it will be cancelled.

I wouldn't call Netflix "Cancel happy" for cancelling a couple of bad shows.
