LOL. Considering that none of the previous 49 issues plus the mini- and micro-series have sucked (excepting the Casey and April series and arguably Eastman's two annuals)... the odds of such an amazing conclusion (Gauntlet battle, Kitsune's manipulation of Saki, the Oroku/Hamato feud coming to an end) sucking are about as high as the odds of Michael Bay including Oroku Pimiko and Agent Braunze in TMNT 2.

#21 sucked.

This won't though, I'm not the least bit worried in being disappointed.

That was the City Fall prologue by Eastman, right? Yeah, I'll give you that it was poor but I wouldn't go as far as saying it SUCKED. Not in the same breath as the Annuals and C&A, anyway.

I'd give #21 2 out of 5 stars, whereas the other ones I have to use negative or imaginary numbers.

Shhhhh, it'll be okay. Here, let me hold you.

It'll be awesome, and Tamaki will never write for TMNT again, and Donny will get his body back. I promise!

I hope the sales do well. It's going up against Marvel's relaunch and I don't want it to get overshadowed.

Interview with Eastman, Curnow, and Waltz. Some #50 sneak peeks.

Thx man. I know it's just a comic and all, but I really hope it's good.

What stuck out to me the most and what I take away from that interview is that the Turtles will probably have to resort to some pretty violent means to win the fight with both the Foot mutants and Shredder afterwards, and Mikey won't like it one bit.

Man loved that interview, especially Tom saying why he brought the Neutrinos in. And he's right, there is a darker story underneath there and it made sense to see them revived. As a whole it was also nice to hear them talk about the reincarnation bit and how things fell into place.

Its pretty funny because IDW TMNT could have been completely different, I feel that everything just kinda worked.

What I took away from it is that Mikey may leave as early as the end of Issue #50.

Sigh. Next Wednesday cannot come any faster.

I think what's also great is the same creative team of Tom Waltz, Bobby and Kevin have been there since the beginning and might be there throughout the entire run.

DC and Marvel constantly change the head writers and creative teams of their books and kicks old writers to the curb if sales start to dip, I'm glad we stuck with the same people. If Tom or Bobby ever quit or leave I feel IDW TMNT will never be the same.

Agreed. I'd rather have a shorter run of TMNT with the same creative team than have the amazing duo of Tom and Bobby (with some help from Eastman) go off the book.

That's really nice to hear that Kevin wrote a letter to Tom and Bobby praising the script for #50. But just remember Kevin also said that the platinum dunes movie would be like The Raid. Never happened, so I'll keep my expectations low.

LOL. Yeah, you know you've been a TMNT fan for far too long when you disregard BOTH of the original creators.

Laird = HATES everything
Eastman = LOVES everything

Exactly. Maybe someday we'll get another Laird/Eastman team-up...
