Generally speaking, it is for larger figures $34.99 to $49.99 that are standalone and/or packed with exclusives (e.g. Metalhead, Rex-1, Muck Man, Alpha 1, Panda Khan etc.) or figures with some sort of licensing deal (e.g. Usagi, Panda Khan etc.)

Yes, Eddie and Shibano are in the toon, which is why I say I will pass on things *exclusive* to Saturday Morning Adventures e.g. Dark Turtles.

And yeah, he pretty much confirms the others are coming too in the video. Leo comes with an alternate lenticular for Donnie's portal generator that has Dark Leo looking through with two other turtles behind him in the shadows as a teaser.

Y’know I’m not sure there’s a market for this but but a FW/Urban Legends mashup might be fun. Cyborg Donnie, Shredder Raph, sword hand Leo. Not sure what you could do for Mike other than give him a red bandana lol.

But Pimiko and Lady Shredder would be fun too.

I can't believe it but I actually stumbled upon a Turtles in Disguise 4-pack at Target today. Not the new one with the punk turtles, but the original one with the trench coats and the masks.....

We might eventually get a gangsters pack but human characters other than Casey, April and Karai don't really tend to sell much.
One more long shot I’d love to see is Dippy the Diplodocus. But again, large/expensive figure with a generic design. Highly unlikely.

This got me thinking about some of the re-releases and "Ultimate" single-packs.

I always thought the original Shredder figure was fine - keep in mind that is commentary about any upcoming "Ultimate" version, not your paint mod. I glanced at Slash at Target too - it's a neat version but I can't really see picking it up at that price point given I already bought the original Slash 2-Pack. The only figure that "needed" a real fix was April, which they did, and to be honest the only reason I don't resent that one is because I never bought the original April to begin with.

Biggest bull$#!( in toy collecting is when a company releases a crap figure followed-up by a "fixed release". Then we buy a second figure and you say people say "glad they did this - we really needed a better XYZ". Meanwhile some of us are scratching our head's thinking "they sold you a $#!( toy which you bought at about 40 bucks a pop - and then you bought the second one and thanked them for 'fixing' the problem by selling you a second boutique toy."

Crazy.

I can't wait for Panda!! Hopefully there's more cartoon reveals this weekend, but I bet they'll save those for SDCC.

Crazy.
This happens in electronics as well, you can look at every new iteration of iPhone as less broken than the previous version, and it can be argued that they keep earlier versions gimped or nerfed intentionally to some degree. Also, look at Wii they originally advertised 1:1 motion maneuvers in their promo adverts yet it took several years for them to make motion + controllers but by then no one cared. And Also, how Switch had poor battery life and LCD screen, they could have easily charged $100 more from the get go but they cut corners releasing 'broken' products only to fix them later. Switch 2 should be OLED from the getgo but they will release OLED and Lite versions at a later time, it's almost guaranteed. And, some stopgap products like Xbox One X, PS4 Pro and PS5 Pro are unnecessary as they are already planning a replacement.

It's a bit on a tangent but the idea of 'broken' figures are an industry norm prevalent across all toys and electronics, not just TMNT...but I don't think it warrants an entire thread, though.
