I'm 5 episodes in... though I haven't watched any new ones in 3 days. I will, but I don't feel much a pull to. Do things pick up after this point, or is it all kind of samey?

If memory serves, the season's big reveal takes place at the end of episode 6. (miiiiight be 7, but i'm pretty sure its 6)

Dumb question: since after The Defenders, Jessica Jones' powers are known and she is hiding very much in plain sight... how come no one is coming to her, making her sign the Sekovia Accords?

The same can be said of Luke Cage, but he's a bit more of an elusive character so he can get a pass.

Just finished Season 2. I thought it was better and more interesting than the first one.

Just finished... I think it's episode 7. Whichever one is 95% a flashback to Jessica being a bit younger.

The show has gotten a lot better. I also really like Hogarth's character and her growth this season.

I made it through Episode 4 (Jessica getting arrested for Alisa killing the rival detective's dude in a van) and then had to stop for the weekend. Really looking forward to getting back to it tonight!

Caught the last two episodes tonight. I was digging where things were going but man, it sure went out with a whimper. There's really nothing and nobody to root for in the end except maybe Hogarth. Certainly nothing in the way of a villain.

And not to keep beating the "fly, dammit!" horse but... why, exactly, didn't Jessica just fly out when she escaped the hospital/morgue with police all around?

Also, what happened with the promises 2 years ago that season 2 would explore her brief superhero past?

The show runner, Melissa Rosenberg, had this to say on the subject in an interview:

"She doesn't fly but she can jump many stories, and she lands really badly, which is why she doesn't do it too often," Rosenberg says.

I'm hearing from a lot of people that the Marvel Netflix budgets are considerably lower than stuff like Arrow and Flash and Supergirl... so maybe that's the real answer.

Hypothetically, what do you think? I have no idea about the comics, but would Jessica Jones get along with Frank Castle? I'd kind of like to see that.

I feel like they're the type of people where if you stood them beside each other they wouldn't speak a word to each other and mind their own business. But that's not fun storytelling.

I suppose they would call out each other for their outright "damaged alpha" personality and probably couldn't stand each other.

Hopefully Season 3 is an improvement... huge JJ fan since Season 1, but did not like Season 2.

Wonder what's going on with season 3. Mum has been the word for months... and it wrapped last year.

I know we'll get it, but... what's the hold up? If anything I'd think Netflix would want to shoot it out now, during Endgame hysteria.
