Fanedits (TMNT and Others)
I used to do a lot of fanediting back in the day, and I even attempted a cut of a Fast Forward episode back in 2006. Lately I've gotten back in the habit and chief amongst my projects are a few TMNT edits.
(Updated as of February 2022) -Sky Turtles In Ten Minutes -The Big Blow-Out In Nine Minutes TMNT: The Epic Collection The Epic Begins (Complete Cut) The Big Blow-Out Misc. Fanedits Pryde of the X-Men: Mute Man Logan

Heh, sounds cool! Did you ever get the chance to watch my "TMNT Gone Wrong!" abridged parody series of videos before I decided to take them off the interwebs?

Hmmm... this sounds interesting. I am curious about the logistics of how everything will be cohesive, but I guess I would have to wait for the finished product.

"The Big Blow-Out"...though granted the only dodgy part of that is trying to justify the Turtles dozing off while Shredder causes havoc uptop |

Right after the US government went over to New Zealand and shut down MegaUpload, I got a little jumpy about the future of copyright law enforcement in this country and decided I just didn't feel like taking chances anymore. But if anybody is interested in seeing them, I can always oblige a private request! I released 11 episodes, with a special 12th episode that was never revealed. Like I said, they weren't as popular as I hoped they'd be, but I had fun making them. I even did two parodies of The Big Blow Out episode!

The primary traffic I got was through the Forum thread. If you want to PM a preferred email address, I could probably send you a temporary download link[ Hey, cool!

Update: Well, I've tried my ideas out on a prototype workprint comprised of copies I ripped from Youtube, and so far they pan out very well. I've removed the commercial cuts as well so the whole thing feels like a more complete experiance. Due to video quality issues (particulary with the "Shredderville" portions), I will have to do this all over again with high quality DVD rips of the episodes, but I now have a blueprint to work off of so the job will be much easier down the road. |

Thanks
I've put together a custom title card for the edit too...just to make it that extra bit authentic looking I want to upload the blueprint workprint to Mega to get general feedback, but I have such a slow and piddling server over here and I always have trouble putting anything up on it. I'd try torrents, but I'm hopless at properly seeding anything. |

Right, big problem....apparently the reason why my blueprint file is so big is because of the custom title card I added to the video that balooned it in size...it works fine on DVD, but it's torture trying to upload on Mega with that kind of file size...even when you stick it in a RAR file.
At the moment, I've decided not to bother uploading the workprints and instead will carry on testing out my ideas for some things...I'm going to start work on my next edit project today, which will be a hybrid edit of the seasons five and six premieres plus the season seven finale. I'll let you know how I get on. |

Just letting you guys know work begins on the new edit soon, it might be tomorow, I've just been very busy putting together other fanedits unrelated to Turtles.
I'll also be putting up a "timeline" detailing all the changes I've made to these episodes just to wet people's appetites and to give you a general idea of what to expect from the finished product. |

Changed my mind and "Return of the Tecnodrome" is now back in.
I'll get around to the timelines soon |

Hmm.... wait a minute, so did you edit it where Baxter becomes that green substance in the jar that Donatello has?
... lol sorry I'm just trying to piece things together. On another note, I don't know how you're able to do it Zarius, but you are managing your Movie Script, OT novellas, and your TMNT fanedits all quite well. Pretty impressive! I don't know if I could juggle all of these projects at the same time as well as you, if I tried working on them. |

No, instead of mutating him with the fly, Krang just kills Baxter. Quote:

Finally managed to upload one of these damn things to Mega. You can download "Splinter No More" from the first page.
http://mylittlez.deviantart.com/art/...F43053605&qo=9 "The Big Blow-Out" edit may have to be done from scratch due to some video quality issues.

Added two non-TMNT edits that I made for fun to the directory, "A Nightmare on Sesame Street" and "Pooh's Adventures of Austin vs Rock", which I've put up on Youtube (if you're aware of the "Pooh's Adventures" movement you'll get what this is spoofing)
