This or That: Ice Cream or Yogurt
What's your go to treat between the 2?

I've never eaten yogurt in my entire life. I eat ice cream only very rarely these days (maybe once a year or so), so.

Yogurt anyday for less sugar, more protein and being more natural.

Over the last ten years I've definitely eaten more yogurt than ice cream, spoon-for-spoon. Makes a great between-meal snack.
Also, my dog likes to lick out the empty cup, which is precious as f*ck. No strong brand preference, but Cherry, Peach and Blueberry would be my favorite flavors. I don't have anything against ice cream and I'll have it once in a while but it's definitely empty calories and I generally don't bother with things like that as a general rule. It's like eating a fudge bar packed with 30 grams of protein over a regular brownie. Why bother with the latter if they both taste the same, when the one does literally nothing positive for your body? All other things being equal it's only logical to consume the more nutrient-rich option.

It's not about logic, though, when it comes to treats like ice cream. I looove a good strawberry cheesecake flavored cone.
That said, I like both equally.

I like both of them. Ice cream is my go-to because it's hot outside. Yogurt is a great breakfast side item and as Leo mentioned, it's also a great snack.

The biggest "treat" of all for me is when my gut isn't hanging over my pants. So I personally try and always make The Wiser Choice.
I don't always, but I try.

I fortunately never suffer from that particular issue. Fast metabolism. To the point that I LOSE weight more easily than I GAIN it. So eating more calories is actually better in my case, even if they aren't particularly "healthy". And I do take supplements as well, to aid in whatever my diet might lack.

I don't really class yoghurt as treat so if that's what I was after I guess it would be ice cream, but I don't really eat much of it.

I remember thinking yogurt was like baby food when I was younger so I never touched it for that reason.

Don't eat ice cream too often, but that would be the one in terms of a treat.
I'm picky about yogurt, didn't care of it as a kid and was never a big eater of it (just something in that kind of sour dairy flavor I'm not a big fan of), but I'll buy some of the Activia brand now and then. Though that's more as an antacid substitute than a treat. But did you see pudding the same way? |

Everyone eats jello on a plate. It's made and you just sprawl it out. Back at all-you-can-eat-buffets I used to get jello in the snack bar and just sprawl it all over the plate, since they had red, blue, green, orange, yellow jellow...I'd get all 5 different colors and just make a giant plate of jellow. All rainbow colors.

That's at a buffet...no sane person doesn't put jello in a bowl.

I love frozen yogurt but I haven't had that in forever. I feel like I only ever see it at buffets.
