Taking a break from Dirty Computer to listen to this again:

Context:
Spoiler:
It's the original version of the song Burn from the Broadway Musical, Hamilton.

This is the song in which Eliza Hamilton reacts to the publication of The Reynold's Pamphlet, which explicitly details a blackmail scheme against Alexander Hamilton...that he wrote and published himself, because the dude had absolutely no chill.

In some ways I prefer this to the version they went with in the show, because she clearly shows her anger. However, because we have absolutely no idea what she felt about the matter, it's ultimately even more speculation than the one they went with...which is far more subdued.

One of the best punk albums ever made, in my opinion. Been bumping this for almost two decades.

I've seen Won't You Be My Neighbor twice. Lately I wondered if there was something wrong with my personality, but this song makes me glad to be who I am.

The Whole Album Vicious by Halestorm is really good. Also listing to Ninja Sex Party's new album Cool Patrol.

Lately, the score to "Mission: Impossible - Fallout." It's very engaging to me for some reason in ways no recent scores have grabbed me.

Also checked out the latest NIN album. Good grief. What happened to Reznor? Unlistenable.

With Halloween coming up and Hocus Pocus celebrating its 25th anniversary I thought I'd listen and watch the Sanderson Sisters along with some of their friends putting a twist on a Taylor Swift song.
