I'm gonna be a little annoyed if the first batch of season 4 episodes doesn't feature a totally revamped theme song sequence. It would just be wrong to use the familiar sequences considering the cataclysmic events of the season 3 finale.
With season 3, didn't they wait until "Spirit Quest" to unveil the new theme song scenes with the Party Wagon and the Turtles' new outfits?

I'm sure there will be a new theme song.

Now I wonder if the "Mutants in Space!" book was intentionally released early just to keep the TMNT fandom from freaking out (over the Season 3 cliffhanger) for a whole month

I'm kinda hoping the 80s TMNT play a part in bringing the 2012 TMNT's world back.

I got sent this.
http://tvschedule.zap2it.com/tv/teen...aid=tvschedule It says season 4 starts on Oct 31st but I think it could be wrong as it's on a saturday and on Halloween, they never aired new episodes on Halloween.

It is not going to be a 13 parter, its going to be a 3 parter, then back to the regular episodes. The fugitoid it going to be in 13 episodes, but that just means he will keep coming back, like alot of the characters do.

according to the mutants in space book, they are only looking for 3 parts of the black hole generator. how are they going to spread that out into a 13 part story arc?

Easily. They'll have filler episodes not related to finding the black hole generator parts during the space arc.

Besides we know Lord Dregg will be in it, there will be a Mona Lisa (and likely Newtralizer) episode, and the Turtles will probably get captured by the Triceraton empire for their tournament battle.

possible, i just feel like 13 episodes is too long for a space adventure

Not exactly IMO. I thought the entire Northampton arc was filler. Sure we'll get some standalone episodes like Armaggon but at least there will be an overall purpose/mission for the Turtles in Space arc. The writers really dropped the ball with Northampton.

I'm down for anything that involves time travel.
At first I thought it might be like Back To The Future II or the time turner sequences in Harry Potter, where there's no interaction between past/present/future selves. Then I saw the comment about Bill & Ted interacting with their younger selves and it got me thinking. Guys, what if we're getting another episode where the turtles join up with their 80's selves again. A while ago Brandon posted a photo of Rob, Barry and Townsend (Cam was there in the studio but not in the photo because he had to dash off) but so far I don't think we've seen the final product as in, what became of the audio they recorded during that session. It hasn't shown up in any episodes so far. It definitely wasn't from the last cameo they did. Could this be it? They team up with their 80's selves to save earth?
