Regarding the Chaos Emeralds, I guess it's very possible. Furthermore with Knux being in this, there's no reason not to believe the Master Emerald won't be in this. Would be something if we could get Super Sonic, Super Tails and Super Knux.

I'm expecting GUN to be the idiots that they are in the games.

With GUN, Maybe Shadow will appear in a post credit scene

How would Shadow's backstory even make sense in the movie? It's dependant on the humans and the furries being from the same world, which isn't the case in the movie.

I’m gonna guess Sonic came from Ice Cap or somewhere with snow. Opened a ring portal to escape an avalanche and some snow came through landing on someone. Looks like a guy is getting up from the pile of snow.

The Sonic Movie is getting a comic book 4 part miniseries from IDW called Sonic the Hedgehog 2: The Official Movie Pre-quill, It will show what Movie Sonic been up to before we get to the sequel.

I wish they would stop replacing the official cartoon/video game voice actors with random movie stars.

They are ( admittedly ) lesser-known, but still. They shouldn't sacrifice it for an extra name to appear on the poster.

I like Idris Elba but the casting doesn't fit to me. Unless he does a different voice then normal...has he done a different voice then his standard before?

I guess they don't know Jaleel White was the first voice of Sonic.

I have a feeling this movie will aim for an even younger audience than the original, you just have to, you can't add all these animal friends like Tails and Sonic and not look more kiddy than the original.

People always saw Knuckles as black I guess because of the dreadlocks look in his design? It's the same way Dragonball Z fans always saw Piccolo as black...even though he is green.

Knuckle's design was originally based around the Rastafarian.

... Odd. The Echidna society was clearly Meso-American inspired in Sonic Adventure, and there is some Indian influence on Namekian society, neither of which are considered black. I'm guessing these fans just really want to see these characters as inspired by black people?
