Holy! F*cking! Sh*t! I could seriously cry tears of happiness right now.

And just think, those are the bits of the cover(s) that we can see!

I stitched together the image and there's clearly a lot we're missing:

Also I'm pretty sure the artist is Mateus Santolouco.

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but if that happens I'm buying it.
But if they just pilfer an Archie character for their book, then nah.

The art is insane.
The teaser is insane.
The anticipation is... you guessed it.
Finally, something outside of Last Ronin 5 and Forever War I am actually looking forward to read.

Also I don't think it's a crossover, sounds too good to be true. Probably just Archie characters reintroduced into IDW. But if that actually happens, boy oh boy...

Some quick thoughts after managing to pick my jaw up from the floor:

So I guess Nova Posse and Cherubae are involved with the space-based threat Null has been working for... I wonder if Trap is in this? And Cudley, come to think of it.

I also wonder what's up with the two Shredders and what seems to be two Kitsunes? Everyone's doing multiversal variants these days, could that explain it?

This whole thing has a huge series finale vibe going, and Hob and Stockman's long-awaited confrontation doesn't help any.

Most likely it's a larger picture split across the covers of multiple issues like with Vengeance, Trial of Krang, Dimension X mini series and the B+R miniseries.

That goes without saying, but hey, a man can dream.

Shredder and Kitsune appear to show up twice here. Either the artist just wanted them on multiple covers or we're dealing with multiple versions of them. Probably the former though, they would most likely have different designs if it was the latter.

Anyway, this seems to almost certainly be a crossover with Archie, what with it depicting characters we have yet to see IDW counterparts of and the Fred Wolf inspired Shredder.

Nice work! It is very reminiscent of Santolouco's work but I don't think it's his.

Hmm, it could also be Freddie E. Williams II who did all of the regular covers for TMNT Universe.

Given this has all the major villains involved, like Rat King/Pantheon, Krang/Leatherhead, Baxter, Hob, Kitsune, and Shredder, etc....I honestly don't want to say it, but this does feel like a "grand finale" for IDW TMNT.

If anything, I'm glad Tom Waltz is going to get this arc done if the comic doesn't continue much longer. If IDW TMNT ends in 2023, at least we got one big final arc.

Definitely not. Perhaps Michael Dialynas. Turtles and Krang are very similar to his style.
We have fragments of the first two covers, so it will be (most likely) a mini-series.
I don't think it's a crossover with Archie. Most likely, these are new versions of old characters.
Null was contacting someone in space. Apparently, we will find out with whom.
Either way, Turnstone is the perfect way to end or reset the series.
Also, Chris Allan is not aware of what is happening.

I agree with this and I'm not sure why people suddenly jumped on the idea of a crossover when the IDW series is best known for re-imagining old characters even as recently as last issue with Groundchuck and Dirtbag. It's practically the series bread-and-butter.

Cherubae is likely going to be the same Archie character since she can transfer between dimensions.

it's what he said in this one that made me think crossover.

Im almost hoping that they come back "classic". We have already established that 'time travel' in TMNT is the Multiverse kind (each action brings another universe into being that branches and branches and branches). Considering that 'our' Oroku Saki *MIGHT* be an alternate version (considering he knew Lita when she first entered this time line) then another version who had not been redeemed could also enter the fray.

Cool story I would be completely down with is that Null is going to start messing with cross dimensional travel and brings a new version of villian shredder and kitsune back to our dimension.

Do we think the Archie characters are going to be drawn in that sort of "Gumby Archie" style or are they just going to incorporate the IDW style to smooth things out and just use the Archie universe I.P.s?

I think that just means that IDW Null (who originated in Archie) is finally coming to the forefront, apparently with new takes on some other Archie characters

Ahh.... yeah totally different than an "Archie Universe" crossover. Instead just using characters from the other publisher as if they existed in-Universe.

Groundchuck and Dirtbag are in this?
