I like the gold and silver motif (Glow Lord Zedd looked great), but I really wish more was done to make his fur and suit different looking.

They just announced "Mirage" figures today that are straight repaints of the figures they've already sold multiple times. GitD Scratch also leaked today, their least sensical GitD figure yet. Playmates-era TMNT is just a quick buck for them now, they've given up.

Uhhh...they've already made Napoleon in their ReAction line and he's not a color swap lol!

Yep, and that was before the Playmates shenanigans. They haven't made a totally unique figure in ReAction since the Triceraton wave which was like... 2-3 years ago? But you're right, they did make him, so... keep that hope alive I guess.

The Facebook post says “first to market” exclusives so hopefully I don’t have to try my luck with Walmart.

I wish the colors were more exciting. I loved the GitD Mutagen Man and Slash.

I wonder if Super7 is going to re-do the entire line with GITD.

Not that I blame them, as GITD is their forte, and it gives me the chance to use the alternate heads.

However, I would much rather have more exciting variants like Shogun Triceraton or color-changing Ray Fillet à la Hook Mountain Ice Lion-O.

Across all the reviews trashing this guy, the bit that really hit home for me was Gary saying that he knows there are always going to be issues with Super7 product and he gives them his money anyway. It's a fair assessment both of Super7 and of people like a lot of us who give them our money anyway.

I don't have mine yet (my enthusiasm for this line has waned to the point that I've waited over two and a half years for this guy, but haven't bothered to ship him from my Pile of Loot yet because I'm waiting on Elec Man and Cut Man to come in), so I can't speak to it directly, but I was certainly bummed by all the negative reviews. I will say the knees seem to be the main point of contention, and while they don't bother me personally, it is pretty inexcusable on a $55 figure.

Unrelated - I'm a massive fan of Alex Brewer, and it may just be how it's showing up in the videos, but his amazing sculpt really seems to have gotten lost in the flat paint (or it may just be bare plastic) on Guerilla Gorilla. And if he looks better in person, that's great, but the videos make it seem like they managed to lose most of the details in the body and face. (To be fair, I also thought trying to apply a "comic style Jim Lee" paint job to his Animated Series Rogue sculpt looked pretty bad, so even Mondo can ruin his stuff from time to time.)

Hopefully not before they release a GITD Usagi, which would of course mean releasing an Usagi to begin with.

I've noticed how different these figures often look channel to channel - the differences in a lighting setup, what they're using to record the reviews and then the compression that YouTube throws at it all contribute to the same figure looking very different.

I'm still waiting on BBTS to get the whole wave, but Triceraton seems to fluctuate between looking like plain plastic and looking like he's dry brushed and I can't tell which is which.

He has VERY light shading. The most prominent spots are on his biceps and shoulders and toe knuckles. There's also probably a bit on his face but it's so subtle it could be confused for shadow (and might be). His torso and tail are just the bare orange plastic as far as I can tell though. I think the entirety of his pants are unpainted as well.

I still like him a LOT.

Did you have the issue where his armor was tearing up the shoulders? Some reviews mentioned it and some didn't, so I don't know if it's widespread or isolated. For my purposes, if he can stand upright and look menacing, I'll be fine, but I'm wondering if I should even risk the shoulders.

That's a fair point on the lighting. It doesn't matter much to me, as this was never going to be a figure I owned, but in the review videos, a lot of the details seem washed out - especially in the "happy" face which often looks comical in whatever lights they're using.

Honestly I got him in a pose I liked in like 10s and haven't really fudged with him much since. It's not like he can strike many poses anyway so wrenching the arms all over the place trying to get some action out of him seems like a pretty niche problem. But if that IS a thing that's happening then that's disappointing and dumb.

Anyone receive their GITD Scratch from AliExpress. Is it even real?

So, I received this message:

Your delayed delivery coupon code

Hi US shopper,

Order *** experienced a delay. We're sorry and as compensation, under our On-time Guarantee you get a coupon code.

If I accept the coupon, does that mean I wont get Scratch. Do I still get Scratch but just delayed now?

EDIT----I think they canceled my GITD Scratch
