I finally took the plunge, so we'll see. I ordered Universal Mikey and Archie Slash for about $18 less than they'll likely be on BBTS. Might not have been worth the gamble but people have been saying for years that there's no reason to doubt AE, it's all legit retail merch. I never took the plunge before because it wasn't worth spending more to get the figures early. But spending less to get the figures early? Sure, let's give it a shot.

Depends. If you're going to open and display your figures, I'd say yes. But if you're after the box, it's a crapshoot. I've received items with no exterior packaging, some with the packaging folded up and shoved in the envelope, and some that come with those fancy bubble cages that NECA uses. For me, it's not a big deal since I open everything anyway, but I wouldn't risk it if I were an in-box collector.

Pretty neat. I wonder if they'll manage to get him or Donnie out in time for Halloween. I just opened my Raph yesterday since it's finally October. Felt weird getting it back in the spring. I'll open Mikey today. The draw to buy these is much stronger in Halloween season, after, not so much.

Casey looks pretty great. Even though I was gonna give this line a miss after not really caring for Leo, I may pick Casey up as a one-off. Helps that I love Phantom of the Opera in general.
