Bodycount collected?

I searched and didn't find anything meaningful?

Will this ever be collected? Or does it not fall under the rights or something? I'm not sure.

The issues are hard to come by and the trade is impossible almost.

I'd love it if IDW would re-release it if possible.

It was collected in the past by Heavy Metal. There's a collection of all 4 issues from a decade ago.

I doubt IDW will ever collect it though, too violent and not something they want to put out.

There are two versions of the trade like Cyber said...

I had all 5 issues at one point (#1 from Mirage and #1-4 from Image) but I sold them. Thankfully someone decided to sell their Image trade and I snagged it again.

I talked to a guy who is friends with Kevin Eastman and actually even done some early concept work for the Nick show and he told me that Bodycount is his favorite TMNT story ever but that people apparently really hate it because of how over the top it is. I was thinking thought at one point that you could actually get it in trade because I remember seeing people ripping on it online really badly.

There ya go; waste a President Grant on it, if you so desire.

It's not that it's over-the-top; it's that it is four issues of Kevin Eastman run amok, and it's not very good. At all.

Whether they want to or not, no way in hell Nickelodeon would allow them to.

Exactly.

Huh... thinking of it now, I wonder if Eastman's 2012 Annual in IDW was sort of a revamped, PG version of this? Raph and Casey caught in a mob crossfire, in over their heads...

The old ones will suffice. You can find them at a worthy price if you keep your eyes out for 'em. I love Bodycount, for the very same reasons most people hate it.

Wasn't there an error with a page being printed twice in the Heavy Metal trade?

Image also put out a trade in the late 1990s.

I had a second set of Bodycount books and donated them to the Mirage site so they could post the issues. Said they'd give me credit on the site for the donation but didn't. Oh well.

I think my local comic shop still has a few Bodycount books in the back issues. I never see the trades go for reasonable prices.

EXACTLY!!!

this story was a HOOT! and Kevin Eastman has a zany sense of humor i absolutely LOVE!

being that the main antagonist's name was Johnny Woo Woo . . . . what's NOT to love!!!

and then there's the Bisley art, the perfect vehicle for the misadventures of Raph & Casey!

i picked up the Trade when it was still around $30, though i now wish i'd have shelled out for the Hardcover!

here's a reasonably priced set of issues #1 through #3.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bodycount-19...wAAOSw5cNYLMpF

you just have to find a decent copy of issue #4 to complete it.

I think Raph looks a little goofy... everything else about that cover is perfect. Over the top, but this is Bodycount... so yes, perfect.

Can't believe we're getting both Bodycount and the Image series re-released and collected by IDW. Two things I never thought would happen due to their violence. I also must thank Nick/Viacom for the change in heart and allowing them to do this.

Now if only they could continue the Tales V.2 trades, they stopped at issue 26 and now they're just re-releasing the old stuff.

Same!

Volume 4 trades would be sweet AF, too.
