I thought this thread was going to be about him passing away. I can't believe he's still alive. He feels like one of the last "living legends" of his era. When he eventually dies it feels like a huge piece of cinema history will finally die with him. The last of classic cinema.

He has good genes. His mother only died this year and she was almost 100.

One of the greatest actors of all time, but it's good he is calling it quits. Million Dollar Baby was one of my all time fave movies, I wish he would have ended it there..... The Mule, I thought was honestly horrible and very slow.

We should all get to live lives where we only finally decide it's "too late to age gracefully" at age 91.
Though I'm not quite sure if his tweet signals he's bowing out or if people reporting on it just assume it really mean anything. |
