Sure it's not because it fails to get views or something? They could have just taken it down because it wasn't worth keeping up.

I always had the various seasons on my "wishlist" but was hesitant to purchase unless they ran a big discount. I might have been tempted to do it if they offered a "bundle and save" option on the complete series and if I had confidence the resolution would be a little higher quality than what we got on the compressed US dvds. But maybe we'll see what happens this year.

If I weren't broke I'd definitely consider double dipping & selling the old ones. I mean, I don't really have any reason to, but if it could help me save a lot of space & have uniformed packaging (its the original releases I have) then it could be worth doing.

I'd only buy them again if they were remastered and some of the order was different (like Planet of the Turtleoids place with Season 5, etc), otherwise as said...there's no point.

They should spend some money and remaster them for blu-ray as well as adding extras. I cannot believe Lionsgate can't see the opportunity to make so much money of a popular series by just putting out the minimum. Very poor.

I generally enjoy the show and definitely have strong nostalgia for it. If they brought it back in a quality, compact, snazzy Blu-ray set, I'd definitely buy it.
Anything else, and no. It's not that my one and only concern is packaging, but I'm just very minimalist these days, so the show just isn't worth owning for me, if it has to be compiled into a bunch of cheap plastic cases that will fill up my shelves. With digital becoming such a viable option these days, I only want nice, quality products in the apartment. Leads to less clutter. |

Who owns it? I do! Oh, wait, thought you meant the dvds.... Lol does it really matter at this point? Viacom owns it ALL.
