Fan-Made Third Season Of Sonic SATAM Possible?

I recalled the Floating Island bit on my last rewatch, as well. I feel like as the games and shows were being developed at the same time, elements of one were being "cross-pollinated" into the others, but their full context hadn't been totally hashed out yet, leading to some very big differences and/or omissions along the way.

It would have been very, very easy for them to go back there in Season 3 and in turn use it as a way to bring Knuckles in, and I have a strong feeling that's exactly what would have happened.

Just gotten a notification from the Satam Sea3on patreon that they've reached over 5K followers on Twitter.

I'm thinking ahead to this week and I was wondering if the plan is to release a trailer for Sea3on the same day as the movie? It'd work two fold, taking advantage of not just the movie's release but also April Fool's day itself, as we know the production is of a professional quality and could now pass for something legitimate, thus people could be hoodwinked a bit

There will be a new version of the theme song to go with the show, it will appear in the trailer, but is said to have been 'cut up' for it, so they're going to release a full clean version eventually. The trailer's still on it's way, my guess is it may be due the day Sonic 2 releases in the States.

It looks really well done. I don’t think I’d be able to tell it was fan made if I didn’t know. The animation does seem a tad different from mainstream cartoons. That might be the only indication.

Maybe I mentioned this but I wonder what they’d think if Sega gave it an official continuation one day. Besides the comics. Show revivals are a popular thing and it’s still possible it’s featured as part of Sonic Prime in some way.

Not saying it would get new seasons but a dtv movie with a proper ending could happen. How a lot of separate continuities of things get additional stuff.
