Netflix's Escape The Undertaker

I almost wish this was a legit horror movie cause I feel he'd be good in the role.

This is beyond ridiculous, I love it! Now they just need to get a series like this with Stone Cold, Mankind, Chyna, make it cheesy, interactive like those 90s attitude WWF comics

Okay, so I watched this today and while the "choose your adventure" model was okay...I feel like it should have been a full length horror movie without the CYA. Taker came off as a Jigsaw type without the gore and I feel like the scares should have been a little bit more intense.

I'm really curious as to if these "Choose Your Fate" style Netflixies will be looked at in the future.... like... will they become the next Sega CD/CDi kind of effort or will these be "Playstationed Netflix"?

I give them a lot of credit for the novel idea and actually implementing these, but I dunno, man.

This one looks like corny fun at least. The Bear Grylls' outdoor one... eh.

It was definitely corny fun, but its too short. 30 minutes isnt long enough to tell a good "story" in one of these.

netflix has pushed interacting video for a while, I find it super interesting[] but it can be annoying if you just want to watch a show. Its not a new idea, I first played with choose your own adventure movies when DVDs were a thing.

Remember when DVD's touted the "varying camera angle" choices? And it was literally never used?

I think I remember that but don't have any memories of any movie ever doing it either. I also remember DVDs that had "interactive menu" as a special feature, those were the ones. Special Features were marketed as if they were something people cared about and I thought I did too, but most of those were all worthless, sans deleted scenes which I loved of course.

Studios eventually realized no one cared hence why blurays usually don't even bother with that anymore, sadly not even deleted scenes, so in a way they're a thing of the past. I miss them.

You know... I "interacted" my way through the Black Mirror "Bandersnatch" deal and I was thinking after I went through it, "Wow, this was a pretty cool experiment. I wonder what Netflix will do next with this concept?"

Then 3 years pass and all we get is a goofy, truly mind-blowingly terrible looking, apparently super short Undertaker thing that came out of nowhere that absolutely nobody asked for.

Netflix has experimented a lot with interactive tv shows over the last few years, but it's mostly their cartoons, Carmen Sandiego reboot had it, The CG King Kong cartoon too, and so did the Stretch Armstrong Cartoon.

The fastest WrestleCrap induction in the website's history.

https://wrestlecrap.com/inductions/e...he-undertaker/

They have an informal rule on that site that they don't induct things until they've had some time to simmer, a few months at least. But this was apparently so bad that it "earned" an immediate induction.
