Karai was probably my favourite character excluding the turtles. Bishop was probably the best original character.

When I was little, I used to hate her due to his behaviour, but in some way or another, you can understand her.
The ancient Japanese culture is very exaggerated sometimes, and it's really hard to go against a figure like a father or mother.

Not saying that her actions are good eh, just saying that she is a comprehensive villain.

Sure is not even close to the evilness of the 4kids one (2013 was just stupidly brutal for no reason) but I think it was made a little bit better in terms of thinking.
Honestly, I did not look to see which section the thread was in, assumed it was the general section.

The utrom criminal twist disappointed me and the show went out of its way to connect Oroku Saki to The Shredder because it. It does not take away from the six arcs with The Shredder either. The 1987 cartoon iteration of The Shredder made him the nemesis across all iterations. However, the restraints were also put on him and all he got to do was blow up the Channel Six News building. You are also right, he was not given credit for his cunning.

In terms of a non-Turtle in the 2003 cartoon? I would choose Agent Bishop. I really like the mystery of the character and the history that goes with him. No noble alien (2012) or a freak with daddy issues (IDW) and has a layered character who has redemption even if its not within the Turtles lifetime.

I kinda prefered the fact that Shredder was just a partial nemesis to Splinter. I liked the concept of vengeance more. Also, Yoshi's story is way more convincing than the one in the 1987.

There are a lot of non-turtle characters I like

There's Baxter Stockman, there's April, there's Bishop and Karai
also the punk frogs

I always thought Karai was cool

Archie Comics: Leatherhead, Verminator-X, Ninjara, and Armaggon.

IDW: Old Hob, Alopex, and Fugitoid.

Miyamoto Usagi is a guy that I would trust to Stan Sakai. The graphic novels are just that awesome.

From the 4Kids series, my favorite non turtle character would have to be Shredder. And I really like how we got to see him as Oroku Saki and not just as The Shredder all the time.

I know it may seem random, but this 9 second video pretty much sums up 2003 Leo and Karai’s relationship.

I guess Shredder because he's the Main Villain and April because she's the Main Hot Chick.

Hey, if we need to talk about hot chicks, why not spare so time to remember Sydney?

I mean... she is the closest thing to a naked lady in the cartoon. Plus, she's a cinnamon roll.

Closest? Aside from not seeing her nipples when she returned to human form, she was naked.

And of course Zhang Ziyi here then plays the 2k7 iteration of Karai.

I thought she kind of looked like a guy. And what's a "cinnamon roll" mean?

It's an english term used to describe something sweet. Is like saying "that person is an angel."
Calling someone a "cinnamon roll" is like putting that person in parallelism to a literal sweet, which in this case is the cinnamon roll.
