I dunno if I can like Punk anymore than I do now. It's really difficult.

Yeah, that segment with Vince was awesome last night. That was pure gold.
And, Canadian, I don't think TNA is WCW 2.0 at all. The reason? I used to watch WCW all the time. With TNA, I can barely sit through it these days. Leo, good luck on your TV appearance. I have that channel, so as soon as you tell us when it'll be on, I'll be tuning in. I hope you make the appearance too so I can see you. I'm glad everything's going well for you.

Punk is pretty godlike.
If I'm able to get online when the NatGeo thing airs I'll let folk know, but I'm usually the last to know about such things. Everyone in it is supposed to get a dvd copy though, so I'm most excited to have something wrestling-related my non-wrestling fan family members can enjoy. Most of my family who saw The Wrestler found it depressing. Still, don't hold your breath for my likely 15 seconds of airtime. They spent weeks focusing on Tommy Dreamer and Stevie Richards and The Patriot, etc.; if they have a tiny bit on "up-and-coming indy guys" I might get a brief spot, and that'll be fine with me. I care more about NWS getting the exposure they deserve. Too bad the crew wasn't there the night X-Pac and Scott Hall came a few months back. That was epic. They've both earned a rough rep, but that night they stayed over an hour after the show and did pics and autographs for every single fan there, which was pretty spiffy to do.

Pretty easy to remember them when Viscera had various stints in the WWE and visibly reminded everyone with his pushes

Allegedly?
They're virtually the ONLY tag team left. Even Heath and Gabriel split up. Oh yeah, there's that OTHER team. The one with the belts nobody gives 3 sh*ts about.

Yeah, last night on SmackDown. They had a match and before the match, Heath cut a promo denouncing the team.
Obviously, Justin Gabriel won.

Predictions!
Kelly Kelly vs. Brie Bella - Kelly is gonna retain the title, I think. If anything, she's gonna have a month long reign. Who else on the Diva roster is more over than her (not that it means much in the Diva division, unfortunately)? Big Show vs. Mark Henry - Show is just there to put Henry over. Henry has been on a run with great and dominant showings for the past couple months now, and this victory over Show will put him back in the title picture on SmackDown. I just hope they can deliver a decent big man match. SmackDown MITB - Rhodes, Gabriel, Slater, Kane, Barrett, Sin Cara, Sheamus, and Bryan. All eyes point to either Barrett or Sheamus winning, but I'm gonna go wild card and pick Bryan to pick it up. Gabriel and Slater are literally just there to fill spaces, and Cara is the one to do the impressive spots. Kane already won last year, so he doesn't need another run. Raw MITB - Bourne, Mysterio, Miz, Riley, Kofi, Del Rio, Truth, and Swagger. - I hope Swagger doesn't win. It'd take him 2 hours to get the damn briefcase down. Mysterio is gonna do some awesome spots with Bourne, Kofi is gonna improvise with the ladder like always, Miz and Riley will be too busy going at each other, so that leaves Del Rio and Truth. I'm gonna go with Del Rio winning just to set up for the main event. Christian vs. Randy Orton - Another gem in the making. These guys are incapable of having a bad match. But I'm gonna go with Captain Charisma finally going over Orton, but in a dirty way. John Cena vs. CM Punk - Man... this is the match that is heavily anticipated. One of the most in years. If Punk wins, Cena is fired. If Cena wins, Punk leaves with nothing. In front of Punk's hometown in Chicago, expect this to be One Night Stand 2006 all over again. The crowd is gonna verbally rape Cena. I bet Punk wins. I bet he gets the WWE title. And I BET Del Rio will cash the MITB in and save the title from Punk's grasp, leaving Punk to leave empty-hand, and Del Rio as the new WWE champion, setting up for Cena vs. Del Rio at SummerSlam. But hey... I COULD be wrong.

Guys were talkin' tag teams earlier? Well there was an ass-load of tag teams tonight in Dunellen, NJ, for the NWS Annual Captain Lou Albano Memorial Tag Team Tournament! *I* was not in it, sadly, but a lot of far more talented guys were. "Team Champion", Heavyweight Champion "Rampage" Rogers & Hardcore (or "HavoCore" as he prefers) Champion "Corrupted" Corey Havoc! "Team Supreme", Corvis Fear & Junior Heavyweight Champion Nicky "Oceans! Paco Libro & Cannonball Guerrero! The Jersey Shore Jocks! "Team ThunderHorse" (Indian Chief Draven & Jack Spade) managed to bulldoze their way to the finals, but the invaders from Delaware's Funkdafied Pro Wrestling, B. Fehrm and "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smooth managed to out-smart their much larger opponents and use their superior speed to claim a stunning upset victory! Awesome finish, as Fehrm hit a Sliced Bread #2 on Draven, who was then flattened by Smooth's awe-inspiring top-rope "Legdrop From Across the Delaware" for the pin as the whole locker room came out to congratulate the winners.
I was inches away from a spot in the tournament, but in the end I did make it on the show, in a singles match with Monsta Mack! I think he was in "The Wrestler" briefly, or so I've been told, I just haven't gone back to check. He was also X-Pac's opponent the night Pac & Hall rocked NWS. Regardless, he has about 7 inches and 200 pounds on me, so in the end it was more of a mugging than a match. My first real "big man/little man" match, it was essentially 5 minutes of me getting gutwrenched, super-press slammed amd Rikishi Drivered until Nikolai Volkoff of all people came to bail me out. I can honestly say I never expected "rescued by Nikolai Volkoff" to be on my resume, but whatever, he's a great guy. I technically lost by DQ, but only jagovs care about stuff like that, and the point was to set up a match between them later on anyway. I had fun, though, and actually don't feel too bad right now, 7-foot press slam bumps aside. Screwed up some stuff though... took a LOUSY bump off a clothesline that I only half saw coming and bumped too early for, and completely sandbagged the press slam. To Mack's credit, he STILL got me over his head, arms fully straight, and threw me from one corner to the other with NO help from me. Not that I'm hard to lift, but that dude is f***ing STRONG. Great learning experience, though, since I've never wrestled someone that was that much bigger than me and really didn't have much idea on how, other than "bump & sell like a motherf***er", which is mostly what I'm best at. That, and Jarrett-style uppercuts, which did NOTHING. But really, the match was over as soon as my entrance started, as they "misplaced" my normal music ("God Pounds His Nails" by Fozzy) and replaced it with... Shawn Michaels' music. You can imagine how much the crowd liked that, but since I knew it was a rib I just went along with it. Wonder what took them so long? They've only been threatening it for like a year OH, and word is that "Card Subject To Change", the NWS documentary from a ways back, is finally complete and looking at an August release date on DVD, and NatGeo might be airing it as well. More details as I find out, but word is it's AWESOME.

I guess I'll get in on the predictions before I head out to run.
Divas: boring. Who cares. Bella wins with Twin Magic Show/Henry: two big guys together.....ugh. Henry wins I guess. At least he can move around a little better than Show. Show gets "hurt" and disappears for awhile to work on the acting. SDMITB: Sheamus. The've been dropping hints all over the place on this one RawMITB: Most likely DelRio...but they may continue the crazy Truth push. Imagine the insanity with him dragging that briefcase around for 6 monthe if Cena is winning his match....if. Christian/Orton: probably Orton, but I think it would be hilarious if Christian won and the SDMITB winner cashes in on him at the show. Continuing Christian's streak of hilariously short title reigns. Cena/Punk: Cena will probably win since this is the most boring outcome....but what I think could happen is that Punk wins (yay!) and, as much as I hate it, Rock becomes involved and they bring Punk into the Cena/Rock feud. (They've been invoking his name enough) Vince has to have "his guy" save the belt and Cena and Punk form some sort of Rock hating alliance as they both hang out in the crowd and taunt Vince with the belt. Cena and Punk both get some rest and the Rock fued will be less boring. Going to Wrestlemania again. I want the main event to at least not be so random.

As for Cena... YOU BET UR ASS HE'LL GET VERBALLY RAPED. We Chicagoans can be quite... Passionate about our hometown guys/Sports teams to say the least. Punk and Cena will have a stellar match regardless, and Punk will be given a standing ovation. Those are my predictions .

Oh please. Verbally raped, he won't even be phased in the slightest.
He's not Batista. He knows how to work a crowd and in this situation I expect the doctor to whip them into a frenzy and egg them on with small ticks. It's gonna be a match to watch for sure.
