So cool! So many awesome pages, I don't know which ones I like the most. My favorite pages are 23, 24, 28 and 36.

This is awesome. Totally flew under my radar, or would've participated! (maybe next time) Page 28 was my favorite but there were many awesome pages!

Wow, that's brilliant! I see what Peter laird means about numbered pages, in the PDF the double page spread on the rooftop is classed as one page, but in the credits its classed as two. A little confusing if you don't know its a doubler. Mayhap numbers in the corners? So neat he took time to read it, well chuffed! Oh, and if we did want our real names published also, I don't mind. Especially for those awesome artists out there who want the promotion..
Oh, and Master Splinter, just wanted to say that you did a neat job on lettering my page! Nothing was obscured and the sound effects matched really well with the action. And thanks for the coupla folks who commented on my page also - it was the toy photograph one. Really meant a lot to me!

I agree with some of his comments - in specific, the fact that Shredder's eye ball popping out was over the top, and that the names in the credits should have been actual names. I know we all know eachother by forum names, but hell, you guys have real names. Mine's Matthew. Hey. |

Thanks for the comment, Spengler! It means a lot to me that you said that (I did page 29- page 28 in the one with the evil flying eyeball of evil).
And the fact that Laird saw our work is amazing! I agree with some of his points: the fact that not all the pages are numbered, the lack of real-life names, and the fact that it looks and reads too similar to the real thing... maybe we had too many restrictions. What I do NOT agree with is with his dislike of the flying eyeball. As Ecto Jedi said, it is one of the highlights of the book. AND also something new, that differs from the source material. If there's going to be a new, corrected version, I propose to consider Laird suggestions. Specially the page numbering: because right now, by including the cover in the page count, as well as the occasional merging of two pages, the Acrobat Reader page counts ends up being different from the actual one used in the credits. |

Eyeball popping out is "over the top"?

The eyeball might be over the top, but it's not of place. I mean, this is a "remix" of issue one... which had the Shredder being blown up, and showed us his rests splattered on the street... |

In regards to the eyeball, I thought it was hilarious. I didn't interpret it as something done with the intention of being taken at face value as "OMG so kewl!" but a tongue in cheek piece of ultra violent meant to catch you by surprise and make you laugh.
And laugh I did. |
