You're right on the Foot Soldier thing. In fact I would say that the core characters that should get at least a yearly release (re-release) are the Turtles, Shredder and Foot Soldiers. At least consumers could choose to jump in the line thinking "it's not too late for me". Yeah sure you might miss out on some obscure characters but you know you can pick up the Turtles then BAM - NECA has a new customer (victim).

Usagi and Mousers arrived today. Usagi is beautiful! Very happy with the mousers too, while I feel like they could have thrown in 1 or 2 more mousers for the price due to their small size, i'm very happy with how they look and their articulation.

You know ... originally I told myself to just stay with one line otherwise I would be going nuts and broke. But this 1987 line is something special for sure. I REALLY have been kicking myself for not diving in immediately, as so much is wild now price wise.

When my brother unfortunately passed last fall, I ended up obtaining his NECA SDCC 2017 collector's case Turtles, and now I'm really really wanting to get more from that set. I don't know, it's the little things that make you happy right?

That said, I also now have his 1990 Turtles line with the four turtles, two Foot, Casey, Splinter and Shredder (opened, which mine are not), his 2016 Mirage Shredder/Foot set and Slash/Foot Soldiers from the Arcade line.

My wife and I are looking to build a new home next year and I'm hoping to get a better display case for everything ... just need to think if I want to open my Tokka/Rahzar and Super Shredder now.

Well, NECA needs to seriously release those toon Rahzar/Tokka figures before my anxiety from FOMO kicks in. Also, a 1:1 replica of Shredder's helmet from the movie would be nice. Not to mention 1/4 scale SOTO Rahzar (preferably with real fuzz) and Tokka.

Yeah, the silence around that set is weird. My tinfoil hat theory is that they had X set aside for Costumes.com and X for Target/NECA.com. But then Costumes screwed up and allowed way more orders through than intended, and NECA ended up having to push their entire inventory over to them to fulfill as many orders as possible (which didn't include mine unfortunately...). So now they're working to replenish the stock and we'll get a Target/NECA drop later this year.

That theory is probably completely wrong because I can't imagine they'd short Target in favor of one of their own subsidiaries.

Tokka and Rahzar were first week Haulathon Costumes.com exclusives. Tony_Bacala of Toyark said Tokka and Rahzar would be coming to Target and Target.com last March, but that was not in the CBR article. Tokka and Rahzar were only available for pre-sale to US and International buyers on March 18th.
