This is why we started our build. I was going to leave it in box for a VERY long time until everyone was saying they were missing parts, so we got stared last night.

I am sure MEGA will call BS on me missing all figs...sigh.

It wont even let us use the automated "missing parts" page- it dumps me to Mattel's site, Im assuming this is because I need the set specific figs.
Ya sucks to hear man. Im missing 3 parts too that are crucial to hang the outer armor , I tried the website as well it kept telling me my city and zip were wrong so I ended up calling them. A rep told me that they are having a issue with the web site and are aware of it so she placed my order over the phone from what I understand as long as you purchased the set within a month it should be all good ,only other bummer is it may take 3 weeks .

PSA- if you have your Technodrome set BUILD IT fast! There appears to be an issue with parts missing, in my case a whole bag of parts.

The support is good from MEGA, but find out what you are missing quick!

You could always do what I did - buy a second one, pick out the parts you need, then return it! Lol. (And by return it, I mean, return it as faulty saying there are parts missing. They just don't need to know that it was from a different set.)

and what are the chances they re-stock it and somebody else buys it and get the same problem? you would be screwing over somebody else

I thought about that, but MEGA asked me not to. Can you tell me what that big sign or sticker was in the mini fig bag? A complete list of everything in that bag would be ideal.

With the box open and bags open with pieces rattling around inside? I would think more of TRU than that.

i wouldn't, i have seen at my TRU a Classic Collection Raphael somebody pulled the blister off and took the weapons rack im guessing to complete their figure. and for the past year it has remained on the peg and an employee tapped it back up.

thats just abusing the return service IMO, especially since the company is already doing their part to correct the problem

And if I had just bought one, and returned it once I discovered there were pieces missing, anyway? Would that be abuse then? How would I stop them from reselling that one? At the end of the day, I paid $300. It's not my fault companies can't get things right.

I might agree with you if the company was leaving you up a creek. If Megabloks is sending the missing pieces then why involve the retailer because you can't wait 3 weeks

I have no intention of building any of my megabloks for years until my boys get older. So megabloks better have the same good customer service in 4-6 years.

It really depends on the TRU ppl in your area , some understand or some will be a holes and wont care , I wanted to do the same as dan but there wasnt a extra set and then TRU just told me if I do that I can only get store credit , so now I have to wait on mattel to come through.

I saw the technodrome at TRU yesterday, i was so surprised at how big and heavy the box was. I wish I could afford it. Maybe if I see it on sale since I guess I missed this last one. I did manage to get a Eastman/Laird Leonardo though which was the only single figure they had

I finished the Mega Bloks Technodrome set last night. There were no missing pieces at all. It had taken about 12 hours in-which I completed over 3 days. Please view the quick comparisons below.

Here is the classic collection sets (Minus the troop builder packs):

Here is a Turtle Party Wagon and Technodrome size comparison:

Here is the Krang comparison:

Here are the Mouser comparisons:

Here are the extra/spare/leftover parts from the Technodrome set:

It weighs 19 pounds!

You should put it on layaway and pay it off over a set period of time.

I wish you could buy the playset mini-figures separately. I'd love to have the little Krang.

If you buy gift cards you can save some money:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?custo...887&rmvSB=true

Code:
Savemore saves 20% on toysrus.com so Technodrome will cost $200 + tax

You can buy 4 $50 GC for $40 each = $160

So you can get the technodrome for $160 + tax
Just buy the GCs now because the website SAVEMORE sale ends tonight

Either Ebay or a website that sells Mega Bloks parts/figures (Like Bricklink to Lego) or you just lie to them in an email saying your set didn't have Krang or something

Let's not encourage people to defraud Mega Bloks by requesting figures from them.

That will just encourage them to not replace such things if more and more people file false claims.

It already happened they require a receipt now to prove you bought the item.

I am on a MEGA board and people started doing it on HALO figures too much.
