Seeing as it’s San Diego Comicon weekend, I feel now’s the right time to detail more about this project and share with you guys a sneak peek at what we’re aiming for

TMNT ’93 is a multi-media self-funded fan made production exploring a world where the red sky seasons never occurred, and the look, style, tone and humour of the original TMNT series, which ended with it’s seventh season sometime in 1993, was retained.

TMNT ’93 can probably be a little bit of everything. Comics, audio, and possibly animation. While there is no set release date, we have one episode entirely plotted out and dialogue scripted, so you’ll be seeing a lot more of this come to life over the next few months.

Having been cut off from the Techndrome at the climax of “Shredder Triumphant”, the Turtles four foes, Krang, Shredder, Rocksteady and Bebop, are out to prove they’re more dangerous, more cunning, and less bumbling than ever.

Krang uses the last traces of power left in his communicator to contact Shreeka and begs her to locate the Technodrome. In return, he will provide her with an alternative power source to the ring that was destroyed in her last encounter with the Turtles!

Shreeka does what Krang asks, but decides to double-cross him and keep the Technodrome and it’s resources for herself. With Shredder siding with Shreeka, Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady find themselves divided between dealing with them as well as the Turtles.

There’s action, adventure, humour, and a few touches of raw emotion as the Turtles and their friends come together to combat Shreeka, Krang, and a whole lot of others familiar to us all.

It’ll be a shock to your shells, wait and see, enjoy TMNT ’93!
