Normally I'll just order them at the bar and take whatever they give me, I'm not particularly choosy. But I prefer dark rum, all day.

Beer, domestic usually. Nothing beats a Canadian brew

Milk or lemonade. ^^
As for the rare alcoholic beverage, either wine or a fruit-based drink. I guess mixed drinks. |

Doing a Mickey's right now.
Although I still have some difficulty adjusting to the taste of certain brands of rum, I am -gradually- warming up to some wines. I still prefer those wines sweet though.

Usually I have rum/vodka and Diet Coke. But when I go out for drinks I usually get Long Island Iced Teas and margaritas.

No longer, no more beer at all. Now?
A Day: Shots of vodka, water chaser with lemon. B Day: Tequila (blanco only) on the rocks in a glass, lime squirted in. I could go either way on a given drinking day.

Let me just say that if you order a margarita at a restaurant and they ask if you want it frozen or on the rocks, you should always go for the rocks.

Depends on circumstances, with a classy meal, probably any kind of red wine, for drinking alone, any kind of sweet/Rose/champagne wine, or anything with sweet flavor (liqueur/cooler/cocktail). Can't handle & don't like anything hard & straight.

After trying it for the first time, I can now add this to your drink list - mulled wine.
Out where I live at, the transition into the Spring Equinox has been awkward at best. I found out that some mulled wine on a cool night, does some good. Mulled red wine might be a better choice, but I found that the mulling spices (along with a little bit of honey - it was an odd addition that I wanted to try), also can work well with sweet wine. |

My newest drinking discovery is Whaler's vanilla rum. Goes REALLY good in a Dr Pepper or root beer! And the mew liquor store in town has a Bailey's strawberry and cream. I WANT TO TRY THIS!!

Not exactly the manliest drink but I've been enjoying a Whippersnapper every now and again. Half Fresca, Half spiced rum. Has a real nice flavour.

I haven't found it in quite a while, but, I do remember liking the Wasatch Double Bock more than I thought I would.. probably because the last Wasatch I got was an IPA.
I found out that IPA's are a little too bitter for me. |

Anyone else tried Angry Orchard or Not You Mom's Apple Pie? Both pretty darn good apple ales.

^ I have tried and liked Angry Orchard. Haven't tried Mom's Apple Pie yet.
Both Redd's Wicked Apple Ale and Redd's Wicked Mango have made me sick to my stomach. Lost Gold and Devil's Backbone are a couple of brews that are rough on me when I have more than one. I managed to finish off an Arrogant Bastard, but have been in no hurry to go buy another one. |
