They're selling well enough that IDW already has up to volume 18 planned out. I've spoken with Sophie to confirm that the 2022 annual and fcbd will be in #16 and she kindly provided me with an outline of the volumes planned to cover the rest of her run, ie: up to issue #150.

I always see these hardcovers on amazon at reduced prices constantly, it feels like they have to slash the prices in half for them to sell.

Keep grasping at straws dumbass. I've rarely seen them dip below $45.

How dare these hardcovers actually be affordable and available. Using power ranger comics their first volume is 12 issues+annual+8 page exclusive story for $75. Literally double the price price if I bought the trades separately.

So yeah, F that ****.

They are always slashed though, it's very unusual. I certainly wouldn't pay full retail price for them and I imagine for many others it's the same, so the reduced price helps. Also hypered, no need to get triggered over a simple observation of the IDW books sales online.

That’s just how all comics are priced online. The only time you should be paying MSRP is in a comic store.

This is a dumb thing to say. It's not unusual at all. TurtleGurkle is right.

Hello, not sure if this is the right topic.
If I wanted to start collecting the stories of the original TMNT Mirage comics, which edition would you recommend me?
Which one is the most complete and easy to find (possibly hardcover)?
Thank you

Either 'The Works' or the recent compendiums.

Which one is more complete? Are there many stories that are left out of these reprints?

There's no 'complete' collection as most of the guest era issues are rarely included due to various legal requirements/restrictions but there is a section near the bottom of the Wikipedia page (Other TMNT publications by IDW) that lists what is included in the various different collection runs IDW have published, however not all volumes are currently available and/or still in print so you may have to hunt around a bit:

It's the same cover as the first issue which covers the early events, Jennika is on the cover for issue 2 though.

So are we going to see IDW Collections through vol. 18 to get up to 150? I assume there will be a nice clean break there before collecting the Jason Aaron books.
